What would you want to replace the carbon fiber?Stryker1550 wrote...
Hey, JeanLuc, could you make a version of the N7 armor without the carbon fiber texture?
Also, since someone brought up Jack's CGI model earlier, this is just about the best I can do:

That's still the ingame model and the textures from my texmod, just with more advanced material and lighting settings.

That's the kind of model quality that I'm going to be attempting for your poster. Just to keep you salivating like the jerk I amLuxDragon wrote...
Seriously, I always thought Jack was pretty in a bad-girl kinda way (Obviously), but you make her look so good. In a lot of ways, it's better than the CGI.
Solid work JeanLuc.

That's mean.
My next chapter is at 65%, so how's that for salivation?

Everything is looking awesome. Planning on doing more armor parts? I'd kill for the Aegis chestplate. Also, did you figure out if you can fix Thane's eyelids? If not, I understand. Just wondering.

I think I've figured out how to fix Thane's eyelids, but I'm not 100% positive. As far as the armor parts...I've overloaded myself with projects currently so I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to finish everythingAislinn Trista wrote...

OLD:

JeanLuc:

The only problem I have noticed is the coming together of the textures on Jack's head. You can see the hairline, face, and ear.
Edit: Picture is too small to see what I was referring to.
I play on a 40' display so the level of detail is still oh so fantastic

Also - does anyone know if there have been any developments in making Texmod run without such a large performance hit (e.g. around the CIC Normandy hologram)?

Wow..... I can get the same results by turning the brightness up in my Tv.
Turning up the brightness won't add more detail to textures...

Same results? Raising the brightness does not change the quality of the textures, only their visibility. I can 100% guarantee you that all of these texmods are more detailed than what is present in the default game.ThePwener wrote...

I wouldn't worry about the trolls JL, your textures are wonderful. Anyone who thinks that making the picture "brighter" somehow adds detail hasn't spent much time looking at digital graphics. It may make existing details more clear, it will never add details/resolution that wasn't there to begin with.

Don't bother JeanLuc, he's just a jealous console fanboy who's frustrated because his console can't handle hi-res textures due to the incredible amount of low ram consoles have.
