No, I did mean 1 and 2.
3 isn't even released over here yet.

But I'll keep that tip of yours in mind if I ever get TexMod to run properly and the community starts cranking out better textures for ME3.
Edit: It looks like I managed to track down the issue.

Apparently, my antivirus program (AVG) blacklists TexMod as a trojan or malware because of the way it hooks up with the games to read/inject the texture packages. I don't know why, but it never bothered notifiying me about this until I recently tried starting the game through TexMod again (it
did log it all the time).
TexMod itself and all the texture packages I use checked out fine upon scanning them directly (with more than one scanner...), and as far as I can read on the net, this problem has popped up with a number of other antivirus programs in the past until TexMod got verified as a false alarm in their cases.
So, I temporarily disabled my antivirus, ran the game through TexMod and re-activated the antivirus. It's not a perfect solution, but it works, at least. And provided you got your copy of TexMod from a reliable source, it should be safe to use this way.
Edit 2: Matters get easier when you can set up an antivirus scan exception for the executable files in question, i.e. TexMod and ME1/ME2.
