Love the effort you're putting in. Although I must say Miranda's loyalty outfit seemed to have lost alot of its glossy shine. Not saying that's bad, just that it's markedly different from the original now.
On another note, I've refrained from continuing my latest ME2 run until your download for Miranda is ready. Image IPB

I think it's just the lighting.  In my testing, her loyalty outfit doesn't seem to have lost the shine at all.  A more detailed shine, but still a shine :lol:

And I'll do my best to have Miranda out at some point tomorrow.

Looks good.

But the arms texture should be a little bit darker, and the yellow strips on the shoulders are missing.

The leather for the original outfit really works well, but against the loyalty outfit, it seems so awkward. Not to say you're doing a poor job, that's far from what you're doing. Just making an aesthetic comparison of the loyalty outfit versus the default.

Darker and shinier, yes ... but not too much.
On the original outfit too.

Maybe the leather effect on her arms should be a little bit smoother/slick :

It looks good, but I think the leather effect is a little bit too sharp ...
Seeing your preview picture again, the dark and shiny level is perfect on the original outfit.

Truth be told, I'm personally going more off of the CGI Miranda than the ingame Miranda, at least so far as the leather goes.

But I think darker, smoother and shinier arms texture for her loyalty outfit should fit. The rest of the suit is very shiny, slick and dark, so the contrast with the arms part is too strong with your actual texture.

Righto, I'll do what I can.  In a bizzare turn of events, I just did a test with both outfits.  I darkened the loyalty outfit arms, yet the texture stayed roughly the same both in brightness and shininess.  Conversely, the default outfit is now dark and shiny.

Apparently, common logic need not apply.

Thankfully, I figured it out.  Now if only I could reverse the material effects.

Can't just be easy, can it? :P

Strangely enough, while I'm not a fan of her boob panel, what I am looking forward to the most is not having the plasticky detail-less skin there. It was creepy.

The quality of the texture is even worst ...
(I would understand if you don't want to do it, it's a lot of work for an outfit which appear in the game during 10 seconds only).

Just out of curiosity, do you have any intentions of doing Aria's outfit? Granted, she is not a large part of the game, but I often find the low texture quality of her outfit to be distracting.



Well, ahem, given that her shape is so well designed, the low quality texture distracts from my staring. ;)

This looks very impressive, but I wonder why Bioware themselves didn't implement higher resolution textures in the PC version. Surely the original textures were created at a much higher resolution than they are displayed in the game.

You're referring to her low resolution bra, I assume?  I'll admit, that bugs the hell out of me as well. 
I might do it; depends entirely on how long I think it will take.

Not only the bra, the unzipped outfit is horrible. I think the texture resolution is 512*512 only :/

I'll be damned.  Bet you anything that if I made the bra and neckpiece higher resolution, that would make a world of difference.  The rest of the outfit is...*ahem*, not exactly the camera's focus :lol:
