Great! It's been on my playlist for some time, I was wondering what would have been of it. And with 15 gameplay hours and voice acting, it sounds like you've put a lot of work into it.

I believe you said in another thread that it is oriented, or at least that there's a lot of content for Rogues, right?

How much voice acting do you mean? Like, every line or just the "important" lines? In either case, I like the sound of it--egad, a pun!

Glad to hear you're getting it off your shoulders. I think all of us like to mod, but it's the modding that gets in the way of it.

Baldurs Gate 2 type of voice acting. But I did make about 3 epic cut scenes mostly against my will where full voicing and synchronized lip flapping is occurring.

Ark there is not a lot of rogue content, although there is far more traps than I've seen with this engine yet. Theres just one rogue mission. But, there are numerous different missions, just one of which is for the rogue. And you can make a huge impact on what your final equipment is based on how well you locate the goods on that one.

But there is also a mission for thos with good tracking etc. Its just an attempt at some variety.

Its kind of like BG2 in that you have a couple quests to choose from and in any order but you do have to do them. Then the game gets more directed to the end.

My mistake there is 2 rogue missions actually so I guess they are the only class with class-required content. So its a fair amount, just dont expect it end to end is my point.

Looks fun. I'd personally never bother with voice acting though since it tends to do more harm than good for my enjoyment unless it's really well done. I hope those tactical fights are really challenging since that's what I find most lacking in mods, both community and certainly official ones. Are you using Kaedrin's pack btw (either as core or compatible)?

Thanks for the response, Eguintir. It sounds like fun, I guess I'll play with a high skilled character then. BG2 is one of my all-time favorites (if not the most), so I think I'll enjoy the similar elements.

I believe the only voiced module I've played is Dark Waters, it's nice to see another one.

My recommendation is if you let the voice acting take away from the experience thats on you, not the actors or the author. You can turn the voice volume down relative to the music/game fx etc. All it is is a bonus element you can have on or not use. To me its the same as complaining about any optional content; you have the option to not use it.

In terms of quality if I had to quantify it, there are a few star vocalists that sound like they are the voice over of a movie trailer. Its uncanny really. Others just sound like regular people which was the whole point of the story.

I have no idea how to work kaedrins pack
and I''m not going to throw another 3 months on this finding out. But if
you want to try go nuts or you can tell me what it overrides and I can tell you right here if its something I have overriden in any way. Then we can make a judgement.

As one of the playtesters, I highly recommend this campaign. I really enjoyed it. As already stated, the ending is epic! It is evident that a lot of work and thought went into this campaign.

Looks good from the pictures, love the titan.

Too long for me at the moment  but perhaps this could be my Christmas break module.

Dear Eguintir,

Love this and can't wait to play!

Please tell me that you will let us see new armor, helmets, gloves, boots, etc. when we add them to the PC/NPCs.

I only mention this because I hate playing a new Mod, get new/great stuff, put it on and I can't see it. Nothing worse than going through a Mod with the same appearance as when you started although you've been wearing all kinds of new cool stuff thoughout the Mod.

Please don't make that mistake (as others have) after all your hard work (I've been following your rants for some years now!).

Sincerely,

Justicar

No as edgy as the tall woman looks in her xena outfit she will likely be wearing golden half plate by the end. Although she doesnt have a visible helmet. I took special care in creating unique armor... theres new custom plate and chain models in game. In addition they have some actual color and function, not just shades of grey and brown all across. You'll see.

As for the companions comment:
I actually changed my approach drastically to add a fantasy theme to it. If I may show you the before and after pics of your companions over the years:

http://img97.imagesh.../fantasy1t.jpg/
http://img202.images.../fantasy2x.jpg/

The skimpier clothing reflects the climate they live in more realistically. Its not a cheap attempt at computer porn, as its an all ages game. Also in the case of the taller woman, it really magnifies her personality; shes is tall and statuesque, yet pays no mind to her physical form, posessed as she is with higher pursuits.

Its only their starting outfits mind you but they get used long enough to actually be remembered. Further to that, the xena like woman continues to wear that oufit in her enlarged portrait (custom UI) during talks, so she retains that hunteress like vibe no matter what equipment she ends up with.

Incidentally the wizard girl was originally a halfling.

I'm looking forward to this. I enjoyed what you did with your contribution to the BR Halloween project and I expect there to be a lot of unique and creative elements to this mod. Good luck with the release and congratulations.

Thanks. It is definitely unique as thats pretty much all I could shoot for given that it is not at the polish level of some of the recent works. But you also get a lot of play time and content since I set limits to how long I played with terrain.
