You might want to be circumspect with that GFFEditor if you're using mods. It's not quite up to date. One thing I've seen it do is truncate some long strings (e.g. Cyphere's Companions have unique icons with long filenames; GFFEditor truncated those which caused the icons to not be used).

I use LETO primarily which is even more dated, but doesn't have that issue. You might also try TLKEDIT which apparently can also be used to edit gff files.

Okay, last question (I hope). Got roped into asking this one for a friend too lazy to make an account. I gave her the NWN2 bug again when I mentioned I was having a lot of fun again. She really liked the look of my character -- I was using a head from Xaltar's head pack on a tiefling. That was an easy enough switcheroo with the GFF editor (his pack supports only humans as-is).

So she wanted to use one of them -- but on a wood elf. I tried doing the same thing for her, had her make a human save to compare to and used the GFF editor to replace the head/hair. Except...it didn't work. The character was invisible. If I also edited the...model type? field (I forget the exact string, but it was right with the head/hair) it worked except her elf now was the size of a human (bah).

Is there some other way to use this head for an elf? I tried searching the old NWN2 forums but couldn't really find anything. Maybe my search-fu is weak.

EDIT: Never mind. I used the model scale to make the character smaller and she was satisfied. Crisis averted. ;)
