i have recently updated my ps3 to firmware 3.30, and i was having trouble playing DAO
every time the game freezes, i heard that there is a patch, so i connected my console to the net
and i have installed patch 1.06, so what i want to know if with this patch, the game will stop freezing. i just played for an hour and everything went well, any help please thanks

Yeah with the latest patch it fixes Sony's blunder. Now if only Bioware would patch this game a little better. I dunno why but on my copy Redcliffe is unplayable during the attack at nightfall quest with everything that goes on it constantly locks up on me. Just so sick of needing to buy a game for the PC just for gamers to fix the company's screw ups. *cough* Bethesda *cough* But seriously if Bioware just throws the 1st game to the side without patching it a bit more i'm very hestiate of buying the 2nd one.

so you are saying that with this patch 1.06 the freezing problem on the ps3 should be fixed

Correct. It is still somewhat buggy in certain spots that may cause freezing up like i stated in redcliffe. But it will fix the constant freezes 3.30 disaster brought on the community.

i also noticed that the graphics improved a bit after installing this update, and i also noticed when i come up to a battle where there are many darkspawn the games lags. if i update the ps3 firmware to 3.50 should the game be better, or the same?

basically about the same performance. For some reason this generation of games suffers from fps issues lol
