Both *very* interesting. Aveline seems like a sensible woman with her feet firmly on the ground, and the Gallows looks properly ghastly. Best update so far, as I see it.

I like the Aveline concept a lot, it is good to see a female warrior who actually looks strong and doesn't fight in a dress. I hope she will have those muscles ingame.

I also like her sword, remids me of this:

but bigger and more... like a sword... It might be the first sword design I like in a Bioware game.

About the Gallows, seems like an interesting place to visit.

Aveline: Glaring at the male PC "Hawk if your life had a face I'd punch it."

I do find it funny that some people early on were complaining about her lack of armor while she's running from her burning home town.

Going by that logic, the Cousland in DA: Origins should've been in full armor when the Cousland home came under attack.

Cousland: (Tossing aside the covers revealing themself to be in full plate) "Hmm sounds like battle. Thank goodness I always go to sleep in full armor, my blade strapped to my back, and my pack ready to go with several weeks worth of supplies.

Funny thing is, we actually joked about this during a PnP game once where we fell asleep and woke up in another world. I thankfully, had boxer shorts on. Sadly my friend slept in the nude. I'm not sure who was more suprised him, or the locals that found us.

Anyways back to Aveline, for some reason I'm getting a "Big Barda" vibe from her concept art (DC character look it up if curious). If that's true then heaven help anyone who get's in her way.

    i understand..but i am kinda bored of only getting chars like Morrigan or Leliana in looks...Aveline is a nice change...plus she is only one NPC...worry if all Npc are like her  lol

there may be a reason to look up in DA2 now

edit: oh and just saw the quanari screenshot-charging at isabella. to bad, i thought they would have their own 'race/head-rigs/generators'. might be to costly i guess. 'thane-look-alikes'

I also understand your Arguments and she have a good Background Story but ... i don´t know ...
Maybe you have right but she also remember me at Alistair ... and i don´t really like him a lot.

I hope that i get a female Qunari NPC that would be great

I really dislike her looks, not becuase she's isn't that attractive...but more her whole design approach... I really Hope I can have mage hawk and bethany with me instead of the mage hawk = Carver-theory ,... I don't think ill be able to stand those two >.<....

That said, I too want a Qunari female companion hope fully a tal'vashoth Mage who escaped before her tonque got cut off... and make her a romance option


Though I would settle for any qunari companion though

(So far my team will consist of Mage hawke, Bethany (if possible  ) and the Hedonist Siblings)


EDIT: just noticed two things, they added a third screenhot and in the first one theres something Black Big and full of lightning !?

EDIT 2 : Looking at the images again it appears that the mage hawke transformed in that black thing, I mean compare staffs... it's the same thing  O_O
