I was looking on wika and noticed this shield for Loghain that is pretty nice and gives +4 armor and high morale. Question what does High morale do for it?

Nothing. It's the same with the 'low moral' tag. It was partially put in but not turned on like several other tags.

High approval does make a difference, however. It opens up a tier of skills/buffs that your party members don't otherwise get.

Moral, not Approval. The items with 'Low Moral' and 'High Moral' are what he's talking about, not the party member's approval.
