John Marston would be awesome in the Mass Effect universe...kinda out of place...but awesome!

The ME fan in me is rooting for Thane though!

I'm surprised Thane was nominated, tbh. I like him, but I don't think he's great. Mordin, on the other hand, is awesome.

I have to agree with this. I like Thane, he is one of the better ( new ) ME2 squadmates but I do feel that he's better on paper than he is in the game, in the game he doesn't quite live up to his full potential.

Mordin on the other hand is in a league of his own. Easily the best new videogame character for 2010.

I found Thane interesting but best character interesting?  No.  I'd say Garrus would be a better pick if they wanted competition.  Still even if it was Garrus, Mordin would win I think.  Everyone wants a piece of that Salarian ass. Posted Image

Garrus was great, but he didn't have nearly enough dialogue. Not even close.

Mordin has TONS. As for Thane, he's just very VERY interesting.

So I can see why they were picked. If I could vote for both, I would.

I'm split in the matter. I'd vote for whichever character won a coin toss.

Easily Mordin. He was hands down the most complex Squadmate in ME2.

Sorry, dudes, but John Marston ftw. Thane and Mordin were great but I don't fully know them enough like Marston even though I've done their loyalty missions. John had great lines equal to Mordin's but I "dug" deeper with John because I played as him and most of the story was towards him. Other than Mordin who was just a side character that had a 15 minute loyalty mission. Now if the Illusive man or Harbinger was on that list things would've been different, but I don't think Harbinger would qualify since you only hear his voice through the whole game, but he did have pretty epic lines.
