Yeah but for Alistair they simply need to make a new model of Alistair. For the Warden they would need to import all the potential options for a Warden then recreate it in the new art style and hope the player fits properly.Perfect-Kenshin wrote...
]I don't think art/style/graphics are as big as a deal as you're making it out to be. Laidaw himself said that major characters from the first game who were showing up again were going to resemble their younger selves (i.e Allistair and probably Leliana, based on one of the implied points from Laidaw) as much as possible. It's okay to change Isabela's character since she was pretty much no better than a random NPC in DAO.
It isn't like Bioware can make a custom model for each Warden variant.

According to the romance flags and such, I don't think you really can have both even if you manipulate the timing of your conversations with both characters.. the game doesn't recognise that you are in love with both. And since you clearly made a decision by going through the mirror.. now you have to live with that choice for that character.

Probably, but then just what purpose does the epilogue serve? Is it just Leliana's random musings or some other form of fiction?Maverick827 wrote...
I don't quite understand the issue; you tell Alistair that you will remain in Denerim, but then you're called away on some adventure (Witch Hunt) and, when forced to re-evaluate your plans, you instead choose to follow Morrigan. I guess Alistair and Leliana assume you're dead when you never return?

Not everyone has those DLCs and expansions. For those that don't most likely the epilogue will be the final say.Perfect-Kenshin wrote...

Good point. I suppose having a custom Warden model is out of the bag unless they do what KOTOR 2 did and just have the Warden wearing full body armor/clothing for some reason.Sigil_Beguiler123 wrote...

What do you mean? Officially, yes, the game doesn't recognize you have both, but I took advantage of the bug (dumping Morrigan when she asked about Leliana, giving Morrigan her mother's real grimoire and then giving her a locket to reestablish the relationship). Leliana doesn't notice that I'm two timing her and Morrigan has no clue what's going on.leonia42 wrote...

Then again, how wouldn't the game be able to recognize that you never broke up with Leliana (got the full romance and everything) and ended up going through the portal with Morrigan. Seems to me that DA2 saves should easily be able to determine this.

Isabela: I'm pregnant
Hawke: That's great
Isabela: Did I ever tell you about the Pearl
Some decisions will matter. lol

It doesn't, but it's nice to let the player see for themselves the results of their characters final decisions. Didn't the Devs say the autosaves at the end of each DLC's epilogue were to record the decisions we made so that they would influence certain events in DA2?tishyw wrote...
Why should the Warden's personal love life have any affect on Hawke and DA2? I'm sure it will only be the world changing events/decisions that the Warden made that will have any impact on DA2.

As for your epilogue slides, like someone else said - you said you'd do one thing, and the epilogue reflected it, but then you went and actually did something else. Assuming there was any reason at ALL to reference this (which there isn't) why would they reference the thing you didn't actually do?

You're not expecting DA2 to react correctly to a situation caused by a DAO bug, are you?

Since we all know that EVERY SINGLE choice made in DAO is going to have a serious impact in DA2,
Why would romance options have any impact at all on DAII? Can't imagine Hawke would care about who The Warden horndogged.

Troll thread?
The Warden won't be appearing in DA2 because of the change in art style and graphics. This is confirmed. And the Warden's choices of sexual companions would hardly have any impact on the world at large I should think.
We already know that is Sten were ever to reappear he would have grey, scaly skin so redesigns of major characters are not only possible but entirely likely.

Aren't they like, eighth cousins or something? I barely care about what my FIRST cousins do ...
