There's an Adept thread already, but from what I can tell, the go-to build is as follows:

10 Heavy Warp
1 Throw
10 Heavy or Wide Singularity
10 Pull Field
0 Shockwave
10 Nemesis
10 Bonus Power

Most Adept players I see take shotguns as a bonus weapon and use the Geth Plasma Shotgun. As for bonus powers, the consensus seems to be that Barrier and Stasis are the best. I personally use Warp Ammo.

The above build is good for Hardcore and Insanity using heavy Singularity. If you are taking Shotguns then I would take Barrier, for the extra shields in shotgun range. Viper is my personal favorite, but the scope zoom can be annoying when casting powers. Also Energy Drain is a good bonus for Adepts as well.

For Veteran and below:

10 Unstable Warp

10 Wide Throw

10 Wide Singularity

3 Pull

1 Shockwave

10 class with either working.

6 Bonus

Get some practice, because the Adept can be a very powerful class if you play it right. Also go to the other adept thread, and look for boz's videos on Youtube showing adept play. His combination of powers is impressive and will give you a better understanding of how the class can work. Also look around the levels as you play, because there are many areas where you can just pull a guy and let him drop to his death, so you can just clear protections and then pull and forget.

the thing with the adept is that you cant play it the same way on veteran as you can on hardcore. id recommend the first go on hardcore so all your enemies wont have enemy protections and become immune to your biotics. most builds will put 30 points in singularity, warp, and class, those are obvious abilities that work great in conjunction. as soon as stasis became available its been my go to bonus ability, even tho id much prefer in having warp ammo instead of stasis. stasis is just to great. im torn between the viper and the GPS. both ad to what the adept is missing.

@ST you flipped the levels man, Veteran is just above normal, and Hardcore is above Veteran.  Extra protections start on Hardcore NOT Veteran level.  Veteran is the last level you don't have to worry about stripping protections and thus biotics are much easier to use and makes the Adept more God-like.

isnt that what i said? an adept wont be playing veteran the same as hell be playing hardcore, because of enemy protections.

anyone here have any experience modding their 360? im gonna download gibbed thing and modio and make an adept with a few different powers and weapon selection. if anyones available for questions im sure ill have a few.

I couldn't play an Adept without Heavy Throw. It's not the best power ever, but it's far more effective than a lot of people give it credit for (Pull/Throw or Singularity/Throw is frequently more effective than warpbombing, and if you curve it hard enough to the left or right it can deal as much damage to unprotected enemies as Warp on half the cooldown while simultaneously launching them out from behind their cover), and it's so fun to spam it with that 1.8 second cooldown. I think it's the most fun power in the Adept's Bag o' Tricks

Yeah I think Throw is a great power, if you can finish enemies off with it by launching them off the map after being hit with Pull or Singularity then it beats Warp for cooldown easily. Doesn't work as well if in areas with ceilings as they don't die if thrown into a wall or ceiling in this case Warp is better for detonating 'em.

Go to this thread for great info

For me I don't feel like an adept if I don't max out singularity, throw and pull(how I wish it were lift still).

I would argue that the combo of Pull and Heavy Throw are the 'most fun' of the Adept's bag of tricks, but yeah, good point.

There used to be this hilarious Adept run video on youtube where some Adept aficionado spent the entire time sending people up to the roof with Lionel Ritchie's Dancing on the Ceiling playing in the background, but I can't seem to find it :P
