Hello, I've had this problem for quite awhile now. It's become a major nuisance now.

Every time I start ME and reach the main menu, the game autosaves and resets many of my game options. Resolution stays the same, but  my settings are reverted to default.

I have used the configuration utility but it does not lock the settings.

ME w/ DLC - Retail
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Dual Core AMD Opteron™ Processor 180 @ 2413 MHz
RAM 4.00 GB
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT
Direct 10

Set BIOEngine.ini to read only. (Documents-BioWare-Mass Effect-Config).

Results. Nothing. I even tried Default and Base Engine, Game, and Input.ini
