hiho modding folks,

i just wanna announce that i don't want to keep the levels i made hidden and locked at my harddisk. there's no need to see them covered in dust when there are so many modders out there with the passion to fill them with life. so grab them and do as you wish. it's also my xmas present for the (awesome) community :wizard:

there's only one rule: don't take credit for work you've not done - and one little request: perhaps there's the chance to see my name written down at the credits of your mod.

those levels are more or less finished in the sense of playability. lights are done, but mostly there are no black squares to get a nice iso view. if you like to keep the model tree clean you should order them in groups too... i am a lazy bastard therefore i've not touched this task :innocent:

the first level is a basement with a connected cave:

the second level was originally meant to be an avvar village. there're also two hidden caves to explore

now comes a castle tour at a rainy day. the lights are final but the rain vfx needs touching as it ain't scattered around the whole level.

O.o - For how long have you been creating levels when you made those?

for dragon age since finishing the game once. in general since the release of duke nukem 3d and the map editor... good ol' times :D

made my way through quake1+2, half life 1+2, doom3, jedi knight, unreal engine, nwn1+2 and so on. the list is long and growing but mostly i designed levels on and off for ego shooters.

OK, so it will take a while... I have made 2 maps for Half-Life 1. (doubt they even exists anywhere today, though they were quite good IMO). New to the house-pieces and things among those lines though, but I see improvement already.

Thanks Semper! I'm not currently able to create levels, so I'll definitely check those out and see if anything fits with my companion mod.

Thanks for sharing these, Semper. I will most likely be using the basement one after some modifications.

These look like great work, Semper. I'll definitely be taking a look at them to see if I can use them either as is or as a base for levels in my own mod.

I'm certain that the mod community will love you for this contribution!
