I of course read all the other commentary and the reviews but as a big star wars fan ( although I must admit I walked away from it so I'm not some walking  Star Wars Guide)  you know, who can pass up a chance to slice and dice storm troopers and bad guys with a double weilding Jedi?   No body!

So I went ahead and got it because I'm a fanatic about keeping and finishing sequals.

What I thought was good... was the breakable atomosphere, the force powers were def. juiced up ( especially lightning), and the graphics were beautifully rendered... you def felt like you were a Jedi walking through whomever was in your way.

Now the issues.... which almost everyone has repeated 1,000 times by now... the damned story.

You know, this has to be the most overly hyped game I've ever witnessed with E3 excitement, countless pre-quals of how great it was, interviews, counter interviews --- even the Demo was pretty bad ass when they came out with...yet it gets released it at best...I've seen it reach a low  7.0 to 6.8.  Why?  Those wonderful hints at Yoda being included with Starkiller meeting....

What a laugh.  2 seconds and it looked like they took out Mark Hamill, put in the Starkiller guy, and then made a rush job of something strange happening in the smokey swamp patch.  Big deal. You mean to tell me that this supposed dude who was able to kick Vader's butt like he was a padwan faliure goes to Dagobah and meets one of the oldest founders of the orginal Jedi Order...and says nothing but..  " Hey you --- are you guarding this place or what?"

HUH?!?!??!  No...  Gee...I feel a huge presense of the force in you... are you a Jedi by any chance? How come I missed you the last time I was working for the other side...?

I mean wow... what an epic faliure that was wasn't it?

Then its my next problem. Why would have Starkiller gave a damn about this woman Juno so much in the way they portrayed him? I mean really. They kissed once before he took his last leap towards his destiny...thats not really something thats going to motivate a man to blow through half the empire to " find".  Why couldn't he have just radioed in --- " Hey --- Captain Eclipse! -- -its me..ehhh --- Starkiller!" .  No they had to do some stupid under handed garbage just to install a flimsy plot to go by.  Horrible.

The slow-motion portions where the graphics sort of hover during saber fights. Now I'm going to guess its a purposeful affect on behalf of  Lucas Arts to make you see how fast Starkiller can fight versus the rest of the NPC's but...you know...  the first Force Unleashed didn't have that problem .... not even on the PS2.  Please.

I know what is wrong --- its Lucas Arts. They need to really stop going back to the old Star Wars story and leave Darth Vader and the Emperor alone. Its done with. Everyone knows who dies and who doesn't...if they want to make a worthy Force Unleashed where they aren't constricted to a pre-made plot... they should I don't know --- do an extended universe story branch instead.  You mean they can't create new Jedis and Siths? It would have made a far better avenue to go down in order to be free to do what you want!

I mean you know.... it can't end well with Starkiller because the man either has to die at this point or diseapears some how --- because we all know that Vader moves on to the final with luke!  I mean really.

Then... is there something in Jedi lore that I missed where... if another Jedi somehow gets half-way defeated that he is utterly useless afterwards and probably shouldn't hold a saber anymore? They sure love to water down poor General Kota don't they? It seems General Kota is alright while left alone as a Jedi Knight but as soon as  Starkiller arrives... he's thrown out of windows,  easily pinned down, and gets his old ass kicked.   They gave proxy 5 seconds.

Did it ever explain how long Starkiller was out of commission?  To tell you the truth.... would someone that looks like Juno Eclipse really have stayed single and avaiable for that long... I don't think so.  This was a ****ty plot and very, very, veeery rushed at best... if they are going to make a  3....their stupid media blitz won't fool fans again. Their really going to either fix this **** via  DLC...or just... leave it alone.  They can't leave it alone though because of the ludcrious ending! Vader locked up? Ha ha ha ha ha ha --- sure...a  guy that could move entire platforms and destroy a large room because his woman died can be left in a hold of a ship by himself....  right...yeah...

All in all... if you just like wielding a saber and doing crazy over-the-top force moves... this is your game.

the first game had a rotten story, why would you expect better from the sequel?
