 Fallen Soldier is a Mass Effect story I am writing that follows the events of Mass Effect 2.  After the Collector threat has been neutralized, the Illusive Man recruits Liara for one more job, promising her the Shadow Broker in return.  Her goal is to find the body of a former special forces soldier/black ops specialist who was the lone survivor of mankind's first encounter with the Reapers, and turn him over to Cerberus to assist with preparing for the Reapers.  But when the deal goes bad, Liara decides to inform Commander Shepard of the awakened soldier and attempts to recruit him for his team.  Scarred from his past and resurrected in a new world with an uncertain future, this story is told from his point of view/is in progress, feel free to read/review.  Here is the link:

Mass Effect and the UFO conspiracy don't mix well IMO. It's a bit infuriating that the Alliance fails at divulging information on the battle, and so hooray for Cerberus! Your fanfic has captivated me.

The Alliance wasn't around when the battle took place. The Reapers destroyed evidence of their kind and the entire event's details were eradicated following it. Maybe I should have included that...
