Dragon Age Ultimate keeps unauthorizing DLC unless logged into the EA server

I bought Dragon Age Ultimate from Impulse, installed, created an EA account and registered it. After some confusion on how to get the redeem code for the DLC I was able to enter and get that all registered as well. All is showing as registered in my Bioware/EA account.
I understand that after authenticating the DLC and enabling it, you should not have to log in to the EA server again each and every time time to play the DLC.
Bioware, please, what is wrong with my install and how do I fix this so I don't have to be logged in to the EA server at all times to play?

i can start the game online then log out and the DLC still marked as Authorized, the problem is when i start the game offline and the DLC is marked as Unauthorized.
if i go the dragon age config utility under game tab, i dont have any license listed:

Also the DLC isn't even shown as installed but the Ultimate edition should have it (retail and direct2drive does) but then it downloads it to my user document bioware/Dragon Age/Addon folder. When it's done downloading it just hangs and doesn't install the DLC (the game runs but the installation isn't installing) even when I'm logged in. Yes I associated my serial and DLC code on to my account.
I also can't access my Awakening expansion as it's just grayed out.
I think EA/Bioware have to work with Impulse to make the installation work like it should like D2D or EADM minus the EADM DRM (I feel dirty typing EADM *shivers*)
Also I'm running on Win7 Ultimate x64

To resolve it, I copied the CD value from the DAO ultimate key into the blank DAO key. The product key now shows in the DAO Configuration utility under the 'games' tab and I can access all the DLC without being logged in now.
I hope this helps others having this issue.

I've discovered what the problem is and resolved it. It's a registry issue with the install. The Impulse installer installs two keys for the game under Electronic Arts. One of them is 'Dragon Age', the other is 'Dragon Age Ultimate'. The impulse installer puts the CD key value in the DAO Ultimate key but leaves the DAO key empty!! It is the DAO key that is read by the DAO Configuration and not the DAO Ultimate key so it thinks you have no key. Because of this it will reqire you to login each time to get the DLC. If you run the DAO configuration and check the product keys under the games tab there and it is just blank, this is your issue.
