When Harbinger "Released Control" on the lead Collector. It had a few moments of realizing it was finally free before being incinerated. :(

I always wondered if that was the case, do you think it was 'Prothean' again for like a few secs?? probly kinda welcomed deaths sweet release.

Hmmm sad moment... The saddest ME2 thing ive seen is the SM and everyone dies on UTube. Saddest thing in my actual game of ME2, telling Tali i wasnt interested after going through all the dialog of 'do you fancy me'

In ME1 - Learning how the remaining Protheans died. The music, the atmosphere, talking to a decaying AI.. Broke my heart.

ME2 -

When Harbinger releases control over the collector. There seems to be a self awareness. I was heartbroken.

Overlord DLC

Samara: "Shepard, What do you think I will say? What can I say? I just killed the bravest and smartest of my daughters. There are no words. I will try another time. For now, show mercy on a broken old warrior and let us leave."

Probably the only moment in the game where I actually cried.

Samara's dossier in LotSB.

Female krogan's corpse dialogue.

Dog tags on Alchera.

Tali finding her father.

Pre-SM scene with photo frame.

Finding out my two favourite asari from ME1 are dead.

Moments that made me furious instead of sad:

Horizon (I'll kill you, TIM! And Anderson! And... well, I really don't know what to do with Kaidan. Really)

Any mention of experiments on biotics.

Ending scene of Overlord.

How could I forget:

"At last, I am free.  I am a ruined vessel of sorrow and regret, but I am free."

Poor Samara :(

- Overlord ending (also made me very angry).

- Finding Tali's father dead.

- Niket killed.

- Erinya's story.

- Finding the female Krogan who had been experimented on.

- Seeing Shepard getting blown into space, oxygen running out.

That's what you get for trying to kill Liara and insult her.

out of the many scenes of sadness found in this game, there were a few that really stuck out:
  • When ever Neff's mom is crying in the appartment
  • the coffin scene at the end of the suicide mission
  • Seeing NPC's being killed during the collector invasion on the normandy
  • the fact that none of my "friends" from the previous game trust me because i am working with cerebus Image IPB

Navigator's Pressley's log at the Normandy crash site was particularly tough.  Miranda's SB dossier was surprisingly heart wrenching, as well.

The Overlord ending. Seriously, Dr. Archer was sick to even consider what he did to David as an option, much less actually execute it.

Seeing Mordin dead at the end of my first suicide mission run.

Reading Garrus' SB profile. His dad wholly disapproves of him, his mom is terminally(?) ill, he's estranged from his sister, AND his squad got killed. Wow.

Normandy Crash Site. So spooky and sad.

No, the Collector was upset that it had been abandoned by Harbinger hence the reaching out to it but the thing had been a slave all of its life, it had no concept of freedom.

Saddest ME2 moment: Seeing Mordin struggle with his guilt in his loyalty mission.

Saddest ME franchise moment: Talking to and saving Talitha in I Remember Me in ME. It hits me every time.
