I give up I can't advance past Watchguard of the reaching. I have collected everything I can find for the quest but can't activate any of the statues. I've read what other's said to do but nothing works. What room is the Great Room? There are not any more notes to collect that I can find in fact the only stuff left are quest unrelated items.

Is that the mage tower quest with the statues?



The final statue is in the central room with 4 statues back to back and covered in gooy-meat stuff.

 In the mage tower is a room with statues that will shock you if you inspect them.  Inspect them in the correct order and they won't shock you.  Three statues in that room, the fourth one is a little farther on in the tower, a group of statues in the middle of a room. I remember it was a woman with a shield.  Both rooms are on the same floor, I think.

Have I missed something? I'm where you get Wynne added to your party. There is a guy in an amoire. There is a mage standing with some children and two blood mages in another room with a door to a basement. There is another guy that talks calmly in a bigger room. I would attach a screen shot but I don't know how.

The place that quest is on is like the third floor or something, when you go up a floor open up the map with M and check the X's with the mouse and it should state what the X's is. Once you get to the right floor you will find a X clearly stating the name of the room you need to be in to do that quest.

I think you are on the first floor based on your description so go up two floors

I found the next level thanks for your help. I had to change my the view angle of my character to see the door to the third floor. It was kind of hidden.

I am trying to do this quest and I have found several notes, but they don't show up anywhere and I have no quest entry.  It's as if they don't exist.  Is there a glitch?
