I've Installed only Lost planet 1 and 2 thus far on my machine as I only trust games I can benchmark and test to ensure compatibility. Nothing's worse than getting a game box, ripping it open, then hassling with DRM and the compatibility issues (primary motivator for my console stint).
I'm thinking about picking up a PC box at my local game stop, but I want to ensure that it'll run smoothly. My specs run average as this is my .NET compile donbangle and is primarily focused for such.
CPU : Quad-core bloomfield core 930
Mem : 6 GB
OS : x64 Win 7
GPU : Nvidia Geforce 9800+ 512 vram
From spec charts, I'm bell curve on graphics, but I still need a bench or I'm probably not going to buy.
PS: i don't like server bg processes and their ilk so steam and digital distribution are not on the table.
