So i baught this game installed etc etc, wanted to try some DLC went through the major obstacle of having to buy bioware points then the DLC (shadow broker)...... 4 weeks later i still cant get this POS to work. I have downlaoded and installed the shadow broker but whenever i started the game it would tell me that the DLC was not authorised. So doing some reasearch and found that turning off firewalls and turning off auto log in in game options may help. So now when i start the game i manually click on connect to cerberus network where it tells me to enter my cerberus activation code which i already entered when i installed this game. So now it tells me the code has already been used and links me to a page on this site where i am required to buy more bioware points so i can use these bioware points to purchase cerabus network so i can play my DLC (shadow broker).
WTF is going on? please someone help me or someone from bioware email me at grandearmee77@hotmail.com
P.S it's possible my EA account which i also made simply just to play this game may not be linked to the cerberus/boiware social network or something OMFG SO CONFUSING plz help.
DLC/Cerberus network WONT WORK WTF

I know. Same here because I bought blood dragon armor on my bioware account and it still does not show up at the downloadable content screen and i cannot download it. I also used a dr pepper code and chose a prize and that did not show up on the downloadable content screen either. also Can someone please send me a message to help me out with this problem too? I could really use the help. Thank you.

Did you buy a used game? If so, you must buy Cerberus Network code for all the other DLC to work.
If you have a new game, do this:
a) Check what email you use on this site:
http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php
top of the page, you have registered the DLC for that email
check what email you used for log-in in the game menu
Are the two emails same? If not, contact EA Support and they will sort it out for you.

this is ridiculous, im in the same predicament. paying customers should NOT have to go through this. i payed 11.50 for the DLC (with the lovely tax), and $20 for Mass Effect 2 as it was on sale, and then i can't authorize the DLC????? really pisses me off and gives pirating a good name.
I went to the Bioware store, bought 800 points, bought Shadow Broker DLC, downloaded it & installed, start ME2 and it tells me it can't authorize the game? It asks me to log in with the account i created, but there's only an option to log in to the EA account. How on EARTH is any of this user friendly??? if i dont get a response from Bioware staff im going to file a complaint with PayPal saying i never received the product, cause i haven't! I feel so jipped and here i am a paying customer.

and what's messed up is i bought the game with a new account on bioware, for some reason my email wasnt working, so i made ANOTHER account to buy the DLC from the account i registered ME2 with.(registered first bioware account months ago when i bought ME2, made a new one today when i decided to buy the shadow broker DLC. What a headache this has all turned out to be. I should've never assumed it would be straight forward. how lame.

Can you or someone else plz give me an email to get in contact with bioware or EA about this issue. The only way i can find to email them is through there account site which is just as buggy if not more than this one and surprise it wont let me e-mail them or give me an e-mail because the site is glitched.
OMFG i just want what i payed for or my money back so i dont have to ever log into this excuses of a site again.

I finally managed to get in contact with someone from EA. They didnt merge my account but they looked into my problem and saw i was a legit paying customer that got screwed over by there confusing system.
But now i cant even log into cerberus network AT ALL? it use to work now it just gives me error connection interupted yada yada yada... my network settings have changed alot in the last month and i suspect that may be why. Does anyone know what network settings may cause cerberus network to not work at all?
really want to play my DLC.

You would expect a company like Bioware to fix this problem, as with me I'm still having this problem. I'm using a 3G HSDPA not that I think that has anything to do with it. This is worse than the first Mass Effects activation!

Ok i have figured out the problem. Some sort of global network setting is preventing games from connecting to the EA server. This can be fixed by reverting your network settings to the windows installion defaults....BUT this will prolly make everything else slower as it has done for me. It seems this could be the soloution for alot of people having this issue of not being able to log into cerberus network... The problem is i have no idea which network setting it is and i have spent enough time just getting this far. I have told EA what the problem is and how fixing it or finding out the setting that needs to be changed could fix alot of peoples issues with this problem, but i highly doubt they will do anything about it.
So now i must chose: Play Mass effect 2 with the DLC i payed for after spending a month getting it to work but also crippling my net and causing problems with everything else?
OR
Dont play Mass effect 2 DLC and instead have everything else on my PC work fine.
Guess what im going to choose?

The whole bioware sales paradigm is hosed and broken. Their games are unplayable as far as I can tell. I have tried too many times to get purchased content and I cannot.
I started a game of Dragon age origins and I cannot even load my saved games! Says "the owner of Wardens Keep needs to be logged in". I own Wardens Keep, But somehow it is "unauthorized". BS... and freaking more BS. I have tried about 10 times to get what is due me and I cannot!
Nice games, crappy company., IMO avoid these SOBs games. They need to go out of business!
Seriously... They need to be boycotted!

I found the setting. If you enabale something called ECN capability, biowares social network or EA for that matter will refuse to log in giving you the error message saying connection was interupted or whatever... Anyway i have found by disableing this one network setting that cerberus/EA will log in giving you access to your DLC. Looking at these forums i wouldnt be surprised if this was the source of many others peoples problems.
Anyway you can go here: http://www.speedguid...008-tweaks-2574
to find instructions on how to disable ECN capability.
P.S. Bioware you may e-mail with the address associated with this account with my payment for doing your job thx.

Got the deluxe edition via digital here + the extra DLC'S i bought that wasnt inbox....same EA account same BIO account,my pc is a beast,my internet speed is very good,But still cerberus network wont start, same for dragon ultimate edition..bought all the dlc's that was missing and cant connect to their servers, all i know is that half or even more ppl who bought these games have problems and cant play their dlc they paid for,and sending everyday their problems tO EA tech support and bioware but still these companys dont give a dam and prefer to rip off all our money for nothing...so gues what EA and bioware i downloaded all the cracked dlc's of dragon age ultimate edition and without a single problem they work JUST FINE!!!!! start taking your customers seriously, leave your cup of coffee and start working and resolves these problems and maybe i will delete these cracks and play the originals.
