I love how everyone is saying the goddamn pyro vorcha from the Archangel mission.

I suspect the Vorcha Pyro during the Archangel mission and the Krogan Battlemaster during the Therum mission would be tied neck and neck for worst enemy ever.

I agree with the Vorcha, most annoying bothersome enemy ever, but why you get renegade points for killing the Krogan on Tuchanka before the fight when you know he will fight you anyways.

Throw in another vote for Archangel corner-pyro.

As for ME1, I'd have to say Jack-in-the-Box threshers.

it's ridiculous how much damage a Sniper can do in one shot to your Mako in ME1. For the love of god dont get in a valley with at least 4 of them on insanity

Use the mountain as cover. It's just a hint :)

space-button + unwanted cover is the most annoying enemy

nah space-space not jumping me over cover is a more annoying enemy.

This.

It's pretty much the only thing that kills me. An enemy makes something that makes Shep stagger, then i hit space to get back into cover but Shep doesn't react. So i hit space again and suddenly she vaults over the cover and soaks fire.

The scions are a bit annoying if you dont have op weapons like the widow or skills that hurt them. But the husks are usually more annoying, i ran out of bullets once or twice and then it's just bleh.

It may end up being to many buttons but I want a sprint button a cover button and a vault button.

Far too often I enter cover when I don't want to, fail to leap over cover as I mash space bar futiely or leap over cover I just wanted to enter.  The multi-function button enemy of gamers since the Atari 2600.

I thought that was bad until ME2 and the firewalker pack.  Yeesh that thing is fragile for a super hover tank.

Another +1 for that pyro. And that ****-eating grin on its face.

Geth Destroyers, and in general any enemy with a flamethrower is bad once it starts shooting.

Pyro's annoyed me the most out of anything. If they get you then you are probably dead they don't seem to stop firing until you die and you can't move while being fired at. Had me throwing the keyboard accross the room a few times. Husks because there are always millions of them and they like to flank you and swarm. I had a few times being killed by them because of this when i first started playing the game. Once you learn where they spawn from they become really easy to handle though because you can avoid being swarmed.

The husks in the abandoned mine when I want to unlock the last locker inside the room with the 2 bombs, man, is almost impossible to bypass the 4 locks before they swarm you and stop you in the process.

The very first time I had seen a Thresher Maw was a huge "oh shi-" moment of my ME1 experience. I drove around the field like mad trying to avoid its spit and died fairly quickly. Throughout the first game, my tactic was the driving like mad and shooting method. Only later, after reading the old forums, did I realize I could stay perfectly still and simply jump whenever it spit at me. And even later, I realized it was supposedly much easier to kill if I simply got out of the Mako and attacked it like any other boss monster.

I'm not an ME1 fan. I play ME2 and attempted to play Dragon age..... which I gave up on. So I feel less worthy than you guys, and you insanity level types of players.

However, *that* Vorcha pyro on the Archangel mission is a PITA.

Scions are very bad too - simply because I can get no cover against the stoopid attack that *CANNOT* be dodged or avoided. The developer/creator of this insidious creature is doomed to an afterlife of being one of the 'carbon based units' that comprises a Scion. (Just kidding)

Praetorians are another terrible monstrosity. The ablility to be IMMUNE to any attack for a duration (While causing damage) is complete and utter bull****. If its there and visible - then I should be able to shoot it - and damage it.

Basically, being stuck in an elevator with a pyro, a preatorian, and a Scion would be really really bad news.

Gonna have to go with that one pyro in Archangel mission..you know the one, the left shutter..the turn to the right when you have to go over the little barricade..the ONLY parts in ME2 on insanity that makes me ragequit is that and the trap..and even then thee trap isn't as bad as pyro #18 that waits around the bend..FFS.

This, I hate that guy.
Anyone from ME1 with immunity (how long does it take to kill you?)
Groups of goons backed up by an Ymir - especially on Jacks recruitment.  If one doesn't get ya, the other will.

Praetorians obsession with Shepard can get irritating.
The most annoying though is Harbinger. Shut up and go away you loudmouthed, juvenile ******. Come back when you are an actual threat, like Soveriegn.

LOLOL!!!!

Definitely Super Beetle (Praetorian). I hate him. I hate how he follows me like a mouth-breathing stalker. I hate how he regenerates all of his shields and wastes all my time. And most of all, I hate how he brings the ridiculous "Cover = False" bug to the forefront as I get killed over and over while hopping from one foot to the other finding out the hard way which box, stack of tires, or platform actually blocks attacks!

Hate'imhate'imHATE'IM!!!

Will always be that dam vorcha, I know it's there and i still die sometimes. It's just a poor place to put that type of enemy, plus with the little room you have. I think Bioware put that bloody thing there just to ****** people off >.<
