I have been reading forums and I am not sure if this question has been asked or answered.

I started with a warrior character but would like to have the ability to create other without deleting the original.

Is this possible?

Sorry I had to ask here if it is simple as I have not had much playtime as of yet.

You can make plenty of them. I'm not sure exactly how many, but I'm up to 4 already.

I don't think there IS a limit. Although I think there is a way around it, if there is a limit. Do this if there is a limit in how many chars you can make.



Go to the folder where your savegames are stored, copy them into a new folder and you can make new ones. You just have to know what character you wish to play with

I don't think there is a limit as I have quite a lot:

Female Dwarf Commoner - Rogue
Female Dwarf Noble - Warrior
Mage Human Mage
Female Human Noble - Rogue
Female Human Noble - Warrior
Female Dalish Elf - Rogue
Female City Elf ...I think she's a warrior!

I think the character limit used to be 10 on console, but I just created a 11th character, so maybe they removed the cap or altered it.

 I'm on a ps3 with at least 15 different characters.  And I'm currently doing a new playthrough with a new character.

The 360 has a 10 character limit both for DAO and DA2.

Not sure what mikefest did to get to 16 on the PS3. I'm on PS3 as well, but when i tried to start a WH with my 12th character, I had to delete 2 characters to get it done. I guess it was just a glitch that let me go above 10.
