I created a duplicate of an indoor area so that I could script when the cutscene in the area would fire or when it would just be a 'blank' area. It works fine for that but a section of the area was cut off by a walkmesh cutter in the original area and it still seems to funtion in the duplicate even though it has been deleted, baked, and the walkmesh seems to be fine. I have checked both the baked status of the area and the walkmesh and they all seem OK.
So, characters cannot walk on a section of the area although nothing seems to prevent it.
Is it possible for the effects of a walkmesh cutter to 'tranfer' to a duplicate of an area? If so, how can I fix it?
Cheers

I don't know why but when I duplicated the area again the area was fully walkable as it should be. Oh well, problem fixed, anyway.

In futures to come, when you make a transfer like this, sometimes you'll have to close and then reopen the toolset before making any checks. It's like it can't 'forget' the original settings until you rename the copied area(s) close out the toolset and then reopen the copied areas. It's wierd, but it happens.
