Hi Slowdive,
PJ, Ark, and I played a great MP session a week back on IWD and it was an absolute hoot! You have done such a good job in replicating the original that I actually remembered some battles even though I haven't played in 12 years. Great job! Flawless MP action too. No bugs.

Anyone who wants to mod or add any features to IWD NWN2 is more than welcome to do so. I'll help where needed to add hooks, triggers, etc.for any mods others wish to add.

M, are you guys planning on playing more? I'm looking for a consistent once a week MP group to join. I'd like to play through a few of the mods from active modders (hopefully with the authors themselves if possible). Kind of like we did back in the days of The Tavern of Hidden Tales.

I made it to chapter 5 by now. Great work so far I really like it and didn't notice major bugs. Some things I wonder though:
- Gerth the shopkeeper in Kuldahar mentioned to buy journals, keys and stuff, but never does
- there are a few quests I thought I would get XP for but did not (e.g. giving the mage in Kuldahar the book about Mythal Theory)
- and I can't give Evayne's Journal to Larrel when I come back to him from the glacier, there's no dialogue to tell him

Are you playing the version from The Vault or from The Nexus? I believe the Nexus version has fixes for most of the bugs reported including the ones you mentioned (hopefully they were fixed). Once I finish making the next round of bug fixes, I'll post the same version on both sites. Thanks again for all your support over the years of developement, I have appreciated it.

Thanks for the great mod! I just started playing the module, looks great! However, some spells in my mage's spellbook appear to be blank. Any idea what's causing this? The spell list has rows for spells that do not have a spell icon, or spell name.

Have you added spells to your spell book and then added them to your memorized list?

Yes I have. I'm not sure if the blank ones from the spell list are actual spells or not. I did not try to pick a spell that was blank.

I've never seen this before...try emptying your override and see if that helps. Do you have any other custom content installed?

What kind of crafting is available? Just different materials (i.e. mithral armor), or also enchanting and creation of "woundrous" items? If the latter, OC, MotB, or SoZ style?

I believe that crafting should work the same as the OC. There may not be all the recipes available, but if you know the right combination it should work. Keep in mind that the more powerful gems are fairly rare in IWD NWN2. Also you can adjust the frequency of crafting item drops through the custom UI thanks to Artemis (hit esc and click the craft button).

Looks like I've ran into some bug with the ending. Once I kill the boss, the game returns to the main menu, but I think a sequence should trigger. I tried twice and it happened both times. Any fix? If it's just a cinematic, I can try to watch it elsewhere if I can't get it working in game.

There's a cinematic. Is your bic file for the ending cinematic in the right place?

Ok, I figured the problem would be something alone those lines. I had that file in the "music" folder instead of "movies". I was able to watch it now, though I would have liked some subtitles.
Anyway, thanks again for this remake, slowdive. I can't compare to the original since I've never played it, but from what I've seen, it looks true to it, and it's definitely a great module, so I totally recommended it.

What are the requirements for this mod? Is it sufficient with only nwn2 or do I need the expensions as well? I only got nwn2 and motb and when I tried this mod out it was bugged from the beginning. First I couldn't exit the tavern where you start. I clicked on the door a thousand times but nothing happened. Also, I couldn't speak with the barkeeper.
Then I made a new character and then it worked to exit the tavern. But when I entered it again to try to speak to the barkeeper (which I couldn't) I got stuck in there again and couln't exit.

I'm pretty sure you need the Storm of Zehir expansion for this module to work.

I'm pretty sure you need the Storm of Zehir expansion for this module to work.
The Dungeons and Dragons Neverwinter Nights The Complete Collection is currently $30 and it includes SoZ and the Mysteries of Westgate expansion.
That's good news for me because I'm a total luddite when it comes to digital downloads.
Not sure if this release is fully patched up, although I would hope so.
