Slowdive could use scripters and prefabers as well as modelers. Lots of furniture to place and area sculpting.

sadly Steelfire, Bouncy Rock is pretty much officially no more at this point in time as regards, Johnny Ree. There might still be some other folks there that can help out, but it's doubtful. Couldn't hurt to ask, though.

Why's that? I know he's been working on some iphone apps, but that's been complete for months. Other than his regular day time job, JRs bouncy rock has been pretty quiet project wise. Did you get inside info that Johnny moved on to other games/endevours. Shame if he didn't still have some interest in NWN2. How about RWS crew. They're pretty handy at modifying existing critters.

Bouncy Rock has been defunct for quite some time. They haven't released anything for NWN2 since "Misery Stone" and, for the most part, that wasn't from JR. He did the custom content, but none of the actual design. I can say, from a somewhat privelaged standpoint, that it would be shocking to see anything NWN2 come from them at this point.
To the subject of the model, the best you can do is ask Hellfire and see if he bites. I think you'd be fine just using the Herald with a slight reskin, to be honest. You've got the feel down pretty solid for this project, and I don't think people are going to be missing snake boobs. *For the record, never pick up a python and check for snake boobs.*

All indicators are that the site is basically abandoned by the owners.

Quick answer is: Johnny Ree, Liso and QK have set up shop in Nicaragua I think it was. I do know that they teamed up to create a small software app company there and are living very South of the Border as it were. There had been no real activity on Bouncy Rock since Misery Stone and as Chaos rightly points out, that was mostly not JR. Since then, BR has mostly gone dark and silent.

All of that said, BR was working on another project(somewhat in secret, somewhat not). There was quite a bit done for it, and I'll see if I can't contact some folks and try and get what they had done released(custom content, music, areas, etc). I was involved at one point, so perhaps I hold some sway(however much I doubt it).
This was quite a digression, and I apologize for going on it. I am looking forward to this project though. I love old-school games, and IWD2 is just right up that alley.

If you are not comfortable yet with the toolset, we can use help in the Beta testing arena. Any bugs or suggestions submitted are very helpful because it frees me up to keep building instead of testing. Bugs are important, but I am also looking for comments on the combat balance, XP balance, and gold balance to make sure they stay close to the original game. Please post any bugs, etc. to the other "Beta Testing" thread on these forums.
Thanks again for playing and commenting. When you are ready to take on the toolset, send me an e-mail and we'll see what is available to work on (from the sign-up sheet...see The Vault page).

A well-done marilith would be pretty damn awesome. Animating six arms looks like no mean feat, though.

but mind you, 4 arms would all be missed attacks and only the first pair would be combatters

Nevers be afraid by the toolset, just use it, you'll learn to work with it that way. Start with easy area to make, making a tile area for exemple require a lot of dedication but isn't really difficult.

Shhh
And I agree, in editors like the toolset you learn most when you're trying to convert what you've got in your head to the game.
