I just want say i have the same problem with Sinovera "I just bought the game, as in CD, not digital purchase. I put the CD in and run it but when I press "install game" nothing at all happens. In fact, nothing happens for any of the option, not even "view read me." Even I click on the "Setup.exe" still nothing happens.

Anyone knows how to fix this? Image IPB

Have you tried launching directly from the CD?

My Computer, right click on CD and open, then 'setup.exe'

ok short update with minor progress.

what i did was i copied the whole CD 1 into my hard drive, then ran setup.exe as administrator. it actually ran until the point that it asked me to plug in disc 2.

when i plugged-in disc 2 i had the same problem. I tried to do the same thing and copied disc 2. but when i clicked autorun on disc 2, nothing happened.

Try it in another pc - a friends or something.

If it does not start there then it sounds like you have a duff CD.

Hey Don Jan i dont know if that's your case but anyway i found my solution. It can explain why not much people on this forum encounter this problem. Just go to add a new language for your computer, it must be US's english, after you restart your computer it shall be okay. Since i am from Hong Kong so i dont have it in my computer = = Good luck!

note that in the Region and Language settings in the Control Panel, I changed Formats = English (united States), Location = United States, Keyboards and Languages = English (United States) - US.

That is a very incomplete hardware description.  Had you actually been SERIOUS about seeking general help from the members here, you missed the boat by ignoring that step.  That's a very old system, and no one knows how up to date your drivers really are.

probably the best bet is to call an EA support rep and tell him what you are doing step by step. try to take sscreenshots for each step as well since this will help them troubleshoot the problem.
