It has to be Hespith and her poem.. I was playing alone in the dark, it seriously made me pause the game, take off the headphones and turn on most lights.



Oh and ofcourse the spiders! They make me poo myself EVERYtime they fall from the ceiling, especially the ones in the Mages Origin side-quest to empty to stock room. The one to the right just makes me cry in fear.

Agreed with the general consensus. And here it is for your convenience:

First day, they come and catch everyone.

Second day, they beat us and eat some for meat.

Third day, the men are gnawed on again.

Fourth day, we wait and fear for our fate.

Fifth day, they return and it's another girl's turn.

Sixth day, her screams we hear in our dreams.

Seventh day, she grew as in her mouth they spew.

Eighth day, we hated as she is violated.

Ninth day, she grins and devours her kin.

Now she does feast, as she's become the beast.

I think what's so creepy about it is the implied rape and darkspawn penis................

What the hell am I supposed to think about this? Then he tries to give my Warden the dead-guy-earring.

I don't know if I find it 'creepy' as such, just horrendous and an abomination, shocking when you first see it, even Hespith's poem is more like dreadfully ominous, because you know that you are expecting to encounter something abominable. I just think that in an already ominous, rather than 'creepy' deeproads, nothing can really possess that sort of value. Thinking about broodmothers, I find it shocking and a horrendous failure of the Grey Wardens that women are allowed to become Grey Wardens; surely no female Wardens=no potential broodmothers=darkspawn extinction. 

I think the 'creepiest' part of the game was in the elven ruins; something unexpected at almost every turn, also the templar quest in the alienage for the atmosphere.

I always pick the "Sure, where's the jar." option.

CreepyStair on the other hand... although, that's more depending on the angle. On some angles it looks sweet, but in the picture above...

Seriously though, that's another epic fail on Bioware's part, having the characters dressed and armed right after the sex scene...

True, though maybe they realized how hideous the default grannie-girdles looked, and wanted to get the armor back on before you had to stare at it overlong. The scene would probably have been less creepy crawly had Leliana been naked. Then it would have been strange.

@KoP: French accents are certainly not intimidating. But exceedingly creepy when discussing bizarre fetishes. Such as eyelashes.

Is it suprising that you find her collecting eyelashes creepy? Just about 99% of the things that come out Leliana's mouth is just plain freaky.


I still haven't got over her carmel pudding dialouge.

It's that femme fatale/black widow vibe to her. I mean, she was a bard, supposedly, she used and seduced people at one time as part of a big political game, and though she states she prefered non-violent means, it is implied that she probably ended up killing or torturing some of her marks after sleeping with them.

What makes it creepy is her extreme emotional/religious nature. If she was cool and detached about it all, it wouldn't be so creepy. But when you mix a heavily emotional/possesive nature to it all, plus her heavy religous leanings, it just turns it from deadly and hawt to just...disturbing...

lol i have 22 characters only 2 of them are males and doing the DR with Morrigan was one of those disturbing moments that are necessary to cover the spectrum of story arcs. Yes i had a Jim Carey moment from Ace Venture Pet Detective when he realized that Lois Einhorn (Sean Young) is the notorious Ray Finkle. There is not enough gum or water on the planet.
