I like the femme fatale part of her, it makes her a rather intriguing character. And if you don't like the possesive/emotional/religious nature then maybe you should try hardening her to even it out.

Or are you just trying to imply that Lelianas sweetness and playfullness is creepy when its backed up by her enjoyment of killing?

The latter, when coupled by a romance.

Otherwise, when not romancing her, or getting ninja-loved by her, she's fine. I do harden her most playthroughs, as appropriate.

I do understand the lure of the Femme Fatale/girly sex bomb aspect to her character for those who love her, and don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, as Leliana is an interesting, well developed Character. There are lots of reasons for Leliana to have so many fangirls/boys/admirers

I myself, however, get creeped out by it when romance is involved, so I generally avoid doing so, especially if I'm gonna be playing a she-cad/easy lover type.

She only used sex when she needed to get close to her targets. Her relationships and her targets are two seprate things. She doesn't find anything wrong with sex, she just pefers more passionate/romantic type of sex. The femme fatale and passionate love making are two seperate things for her.

I'm aware of this. As I said, it intensifies the creep factor for me. Since you don't know for certain what's going through her head. It is ultra creepy for me.

I adore Leliana as a character. I started finding her a lot more interesting when unhardened Leliana started telling my Warden about how she used to break hearts up and down the Orlesian courts as part of her job:

there are better ways (than violence), more subtle and kind. You will be surprised how easily a person will open up to you even if all you offer is a listening ear. People respond eagerly to others who they believe understand them. They seek approval, friendship... sometimes love. This can be exploited.

That she takes the moral high ground about this is surprising. That she tries to dress this up as kindness is absolutely chilling. That she says it in a matter-of-fact way like she's talking about catching the bus is even more so. Especially after Marjolaine did this exact thing she is describing to Leliana herself. Using sex to manipulate people is one thing, but faking friendship, faking love... it's pretty beyond ****ed up.



Lucky she only uses her powers for good now that she's not at work.

I never paid much attention to that but now, of course, I have to ponder all the possibilities.
