Same! Thanks, Bioware! It seems like no big deal to some, but it really is. I appreciate it and it added that much more to an already great game.

BTW you could go all kinds of gay with Fable 2 as well.

Yeah, I was amazed and ecstatic when I stumbled upon this in-game and then quickly saddened 30 seconds later.

Yeah, this is very cool. As a counselor, I could see someone who's questioning their sexual preference finding a role-playing game like this a helpful way to start exploring safely.

Really?  Because this isn't new territory for BioWare.

Both ME and KotOR offered F/F relationships, and Jade Empire had both M/M and F/F relationships available.

Obviously never read some slash on one of the best well known fantasy book/film trilogies.

psykobabble, someone else has already mentioned it, but I would highly recommend that you find a copy of Jade Empire. It's made by the same company and there are those who think the m/m relationship in that game is the best designed of them all. Aside from that, it's also a fun game to play. I really liked the guy you could have a m/m relationship with.

Jade Empire was a very fun game. I loved the setting and the story.

pff i agree now an Elf  on a Dwarf  well thats ok  just have to get that bridle between their teeth or hope their beard is long enough to be pulled back over their head :)

Bioware games have a long history for this as do players mods for them.  BG II had it for FF and many of the flirt pack mods had it

I'm really surprised this thread hasn't gotten trolled, or flamed yet, most people in games tend to not be so open minded to these sorts of things, which is sad. But yes, kudos Bioware, this isn't the first game they've done this in, and I doubt it'll be their last, but its nice to see the option there for those who wish to use it.

Also you could have a gay fling with a pirate in The Temple of Elemental Evil.

As other people mentioned, you can have a M/M relationship in Jade Empire, but it's kinda tricky to activate; I'd advise reading up on it before you play through.

So what'd you think of Wade in Denerim? No one got offended by the stereotypes I hope. They were pretty funny.
