What are the colors available for use with the <color> command? Where can I find a listing of other useful commands which can be included in conversation texts?
Thanks.

I think the colour range is unlimited as you can use the hex code for the colour. I write the name and to date have used white blue green yellow and red. I think it is just one of those things to experiment with.
I too would like to see a list though bold and Italic ave the only ones I commonly use. I suspect you know those two and are looking for something a little more advanced?

iirc there is a colors 2da that gives the english name so you don't have to go by hex value. For reference, the players lines are "lightskyblue"

Yes, the color names in that 2da file do work. The curious thing is that the colors used by the game engine in the player chat console often don't seem to match up with specific colors in the 2da file. I essentially had to do screen scrapes and use a graphics editor to determine the correct hex code. Perhaps I am missing something?

The 2da file is called: nwn2_colors
You can find this by going to view->2da file-> nwn2_colors
It's quite useful for spicing up the evil demon's malicious speech.

Just a note on colors in text: Make sure you test it in game, as some colors do not show up well or aren't very readable based on the background used. For example, the default NWN style conversation UI is dark, so lighter colors will show up well, but the SoZ conversation UI is lighter, so yellows, and whites don't work very well. If you are making cutscenes, note weather you are using the black cutscene bars or not. If not, a lot of colors won't show up well based on what the camera is pointing at.
Granted, a lot of this is common sense of building, but I'm often surprised how often I see builders not think this stuff through.

I'm wanting to understand how to add colour to text in conversations for instance - DEXTERITY: Climb up the rope. How do i make DEXTERITY = Green?

it could also look like this:
<c=green>DEXTERITY</c>
<c=green>DEXTERITY</c>

Primary green is *so* 2009. Chartreuse is all the rage this season:
<color=Chartreuse>DEXTERITY</color>
(Word has it that MidnightBlue will very soon be the new black)

AFAIK, you can just use hex values. In NWN1 you had these wierd characters to use but NWN2 won't take them, you need to use actual numbers. That seems to work OK, though.
Incidentally, for conversation, you can just use StartAction and StartCheck for the stock green and red colours (also StartHighlight for blue), though I don't see that these are any different from plain colour tokens.
By the way, it's clear that white is the new black.

there is a 2da with all of the colors by hex and name - both of which work as <c=****> text </c>
edit: already mentioned above -
