There already was a topic pertaining to favorite video game villain so I figured I would create one for those who enjoy the dark presence of a good villain in any movie.

My favorite is the Kurgan played by Clancy Brown in the original Highlander movie.



This guy's presence, voice, and behaviour are so monstrous that often time you forget that you're looking at an actual human being.  He's so erratic, and insanely cruel that whenever he shows up you know there is going to be trouble.

He just looks incredibly evil too.

he's also a master swordsman, something I can relate to personally.

Ha! Yes! Kurgan is the ****. I also love General Katana from Highlander 2, though the rest of the movie is pretty lame. I just like Micheal Ironside as a villain, especially in Total Recall.

The obvious answers are Joker from TDK, Darth Vader. But I want to go a little deeper. So I will say Jean Baptiste Emmanuel Zorg from the Fifth Element. He's the perfect combo of comedy and villainy. And Gary Oldman is awesome as a rule.



I also like the Operative from Serenity. He was a nice twist on the sci-fi government spy.

I didn't know Charlton Heston ever played a villain. Charlton Heston is one of the greatest actors of all time so I'll definitely check that movie out.

Before LotR and Superman I & II, the Three Musketeers, and The Four Musketeers may have been filmed at the same general time I believe, but released as seperate films. Charlton H was intimidating enough to have Christoper Lee as his toady; just saying....

I preferred G.O. in Air Force One, or in Hannibal; not a fan of this sexualized version of Dracula, though I applaud the origin.
