My guess is we will get one of each class and fighting style:



Warrior:

Weapon & Shield: Aveline

Two-Hand: Possibly "Meg/Mysterious Elven Guy" (the unnamed elven guy)



Rogue:

Dual Wield: Isabela

Archery: Varric



Mage:

Offensive Mage: Bethany

Healing Mage: ---unnamed---



Seventh DLC Character: ---unknown---



Carver and Hawke's mother are probably just filler characters until the real plot begins (as in most rpgs you have to lose at least half your family if you even have one). Of course, I'm also thinking Bethany and Aveline are quite possibly filler characters (Aveline reminds me of Mhairi for some reason...) as well, and that they will be replaced throughout the game. Who knows?



(Just don't ditch "Meg" please...I rather like him)

i wonder what beths spec is called? And if anders is the second mage suppose it makes sense being a spirit healer. (and he'd better have a flame spell)

I am certain Hawke's mother is not a fighting companion. And Carver is a two-handed weapon warrior. I really hope we can kill off Bethany in the game. I don't want her to be Morrigan 2.0 with plot armor. I want to keep Carver.

Back to da 2, i dont see beth as morrigan 2 or at least i hope she doesnt turn out like that. She shouldnt, she has family which morrigan didnt really have. The only thing they may share in common is disdain for the chantry and circles.
