I tried putting the Dragonbone Armor set on Alistair.

Wade's Superior Dragonebone Plate Gloves
Wade's Superior Dragonbone Plate Boots
Wade's Superior Dragonbone Plate Armor

But when I go under "Status Effects" it says "No beneficial effects" when I should be getting a set bonus. His fatigue is at 31.1% when it should  be much lower with the set bonus.

I am also having the same problem with Sten. I have the complete Legion of the Dead Dragonbone set on him but  I also do not see any set bonus.

Helm of the Legion (DragonBone)
Gloves of the Legion (Dragonbone)
Armor of the Legion (Dragonbone)
Boots of the Legion (Dragonbone)

Any ideas on how to fix this? Could something else (belt, ring, necklace, sword, shield) be interfering with the armor set bonus?   Or does the "Set bonus" just not show up anywhere?  Do I have to manually look at all my stats and write it down before and after and then calculate the percentage bonuses? 

I have tried equipping the sets on multiple companions and I am still unable to see any set bonus.

I have the original Dragon Age Origins disc with the "Blood Dragon Armor" and "Shale" DLC installed on a PS3 Slim.

Any help would be appreciated.

I ran across a similar issue once on the PC version. Dunno if its the same you're experiencing. If you equip them with the armor set at your camp the set bonus will not take effect. However after you leave the camp the party member in question should get the set bonus after re-equipping. Also all you need to get the bonus on the Legion armor set are the gloves, armor and boots. The helm doesn't factor in. Hope that helps.

Just got this Problem today... playing Nightmare... would really like my bonus
Re-equiping anywhere has no effect.
Removed all items Saved, Quit, Loaded Re-Equipped items had no Effect.
erm... I'll try the Party Storage when I get out the Fade... Bloody Blood Mages just have to mess everything up eh...

thank you, was trying to figure out why the bonuses weren't applying, and yes, it was because I was equipping them in camp. Went to Orzammar and switched out to those characters, and unequipped/reequipped an item and the bonus showed up.
