Okay, I know that Aveline is married to this Templar named Wesley, but is it possible for Wesley to die or disappear, widowing Aveline, and hence, make her available, so to speak?

Furthermore, could it be possible that while Wesley lives, that Hawke might be able to convince Aveline to ditch him and pursue a romance with Hawke instead? I am particularly interested in something like this - the player character having an affair with the wife of a probable companion! (I am unsure if Wesley will be an actual companion character, however.)

I haven't been really catching up with the game's details at all, and I have been relying the Dragon Age wiki on Wikia for information. Hopefully, some of you will be able to clarify some of my points with your superior knowledge.

Based on the demo shown, it's is very very VERY possible for Wesley to die. I.E. he does.

I thought Isabela had been announced as one? At least IGN stated as much. Though I suppose they may very well have just assumed it to be the case.

That would be interesting to see. Perhaps Aveline was forced into her marriage with Wesley, had to hide her true sexuality for a while, and with Wesley dead and chaos all around her, she finally feels comfortable in confronting the true nature of her sexuality...

Fascinating concept.

And it appears that everyone here is implying that Wesley will die... I hope there is a way of saving him... And even if he doesn't become a companion character, perhaps Aveline will be able to "have an affair" with Hawke while she is away frolicking with him?

Think about it, BioWare. The potential for good drama is there, regardless of how tired the subject is.

I didn't say I disliked her for it. Quite the contrary, I rather like Aveline, but I'm holding off until I know she doesn't out-Muave Shirt Mhairi. I just really really really wouldn't want her to be a LI.
