Yeah I wasn't expecting any different, it's always been pretty obvious if not outright confirmed in past marketing of Bioware titles, particularly Origins. I remember one particular thread dedicated to an Elven assassin waiting with baited breath for the Zevran trailer to finally confirm his status in fact.

It's both so easy, yet so so hard to avoid spoilers for Bioware games.  

@Slimgrin: They did, however, with DAO. A more appropriate comparison really. There was only one secret companion not revealed before release and we all know who that was. ME2 didn't really hide much either though, only a couple of romances and two party members (Archangel was revealed quite soon after release anyway if I recall? If not before?)

Why wouldn't they? The romance elements are massively popular, making them some of the most effective and downright easiest advertising they can do.

They haven't said sh*t about the story. Hawke flees Lothering, thats it. Elaborating on this, playing it up a bit, isn't going to spoil anything. ME2 was already heavily character driven, to the point of being a modern style novel that focused more on character development rather than plot. And it was a weak point of the game. I'm afraid they're going to do this again - show off more extravagant personalities.

I want a good plot like ME1 and DA had. Honestly, romancing characters should be at the very back of the list.

Eh. I don't know DA turned out fine and they focused on the characters in ads and the like.

Though yes ME2's plot was terrible. I'm not even going into the final boss. <_<

Exposition is what all the kids are into these days. All that T&A is old hat.
