It just happened in camp.   Liliana just started singing after conversation.  So beautiful, one of the most beautiful songs i have ever heard.   IS there a recording somewhere ?  and can i play this song over from the Disk ??    and now i have her full approval, when do i get to have sex with her ??

I agree, it was amazing!! Im pretty sure sex with her is near the end of the game.

Firstly, you can have sex with her if you were flirting with her earlier.

The song is on the DA : O soundtrack, called "Leliana's Song", although I'm not sure you can play it from the CD.

Lei's song is astounding. I've run countless playthroughs over the past year and in many of them, I press the ESC key through most of the cutscenes to speed up the game. But never with her song. It STILL sends chills down my spine and moves me every time. I've never (in or out of a game) had a song in a language I don't understand, affect me like her's.

I love that song ((I always make a save at that point so I can always go back and listen to it as often as I want). To OP: I believe to sex up the bard, you have to have her at "Love" approval level and that means you have to have done her companion quest to completion.

Singer named Aubrey Ashburn sings the song in Elven. Yes it is in Elven language. No wonder i had no idea what the heck the words were. Here is her facebook page. She is HOT.

the song is "Uthenara". And you can find in game a book with the lyrics in it (in the chest behind zathrian in the dalish camp).

Not talking about the website. Saying in game it is called Uthenara. Its a song for the elves who would enter a long 'slumber', essentially dealth for the immortal elves, back in the days of Arlathan. (Which is what the ancient ruins in the Brecilian were once used for).

Definitely one of my favorite cutscenes in the game, I wish we had more involving companions. Sten and Morrigan's reactions were priceless!

I love how Morrigan goes "ughh" during the cutscene. But I've always been confused by Sten's reaction. He seems to be frowning, but I can't tell if he's really bothered by the singing.

I think he approves actually, and I interpretted it as him finding it somewhat soothing.
Plus, he seems to like art and thinks that women should be doing this kind of stuff anyways.

Yeah, that's what I thought really, that he was actually soothed by it.



There is a banter where Leliana asks him if he's bothered by the singing and he says that he isn't (although he follows it by saying he thought Leliana was singing of vegetables).

That is a lovely song. One of the best things about dialogue Tweaks was that it was replayable after the first time she sings it.



As for Sten, I think he is enjoying the song. He doesn't show a lot of emotion, but I have a hunch he likes it. Part of his "softie" side.



And Zjar, there is a pic over at the Nexus that shows Sten's emotional range. I thinks it's still the top tanked pic over there.

I also  that song.. as well as the intro song (pre-game start). Leliana is my favorite companion, Alistair 2nd, Wynn 3rd.  I nearly cried too.. and I also didn't understand a word of it. Hadn't seen any lyrics yet.. I'll check again next time around! I don't recall if you guys said so but was it listed in the codex after you found it or do you read it directly?

I like dog but he never, ever hushes!!! lol He's always barking in the background, no matter what I am doing @ camp.

its an item (Book) In your inventory you click on to read. You can only get the book after you resolve the werrewolf situation, Lanaya and Zathrian won't let you open the locked chest it is in till then. 
And Dog for once STFU and stops barking.  For that alone I could love that song!

I love the song and the scene, but the only thing about it that would make me cry is the creepy animation of her singing. It's jarring. Also, phantom orchestra much? Would've prefered a vocal solo. Or maybe Oghren playing a lute in support with the rest of the party staring in disbelief, then I'd make fun of him afterwards and he'd go and get drunk.
