Thing is though that this song is preformed by Aubrey Ashburn.

She did a number of the tracks and this song.



While Corinne Kempa did the voice work for Leliana.

I enjoy the song. I just don't enjoy Leliana singing, unfortunately. The lip syncing and obviousness of it not being remotely similar to her voice breaks the immersion a little.

I'd still rather have it there than not, though.

On a hunch, the animations are for speaking, so they just look off when someone is singing. Especially when they're singing long open vowel sounds with a ton of projection behind them.

The song was nice, but it never felt like it was actually coming out of her mouth.  She never reveals before that she knows elven, and then after the Brecilian Forest, she's singing an elven song, and it's clearly not her voice.  Other than that, it was a nice moment in camp.

I too would have liked to have seen Oghren play the lute.

The lip syncing creeped me the fudge out. That and the voice wasn't hers. Both those things stopped me from liking the song. Since the song at the end makes me cry, I'm disappointed this is the case.



If there were a mod that made that scene bearable I might get it, other wise I just cringe at the thought of triggering her singing.

Why is Lilliana in Lilliana's song so HOT and this lilliana in dragon age origins so Creepy looking ??   Aren't they supposed to be the same characters ??

Not really no. I'm a Leli romantic, but the default body model she has is very plain and pretty much used by all human females. Also, she isn't naked in the game, she is wearing underwear. Unless you mod the game, that's all you are getting.

Leliana won't be appearing in DA2 so far as anyone knows. If she does, it will be an incredibly brief cameo as she leaves Lothering with the Warden, which Hawke somehow sees. Even that is unlikely I believe, based on what I've read about DA2 so far.

I really enjoyed the vocals of Leliana's Song, but I didn't enjoy her singing animation. It really was jarring and the animation was not good enough to give that scene the impact it needed.

We need to give her the body of Naomi Watts.  That would be perfect for her.  and it isn't too late to put in Lilliana in the dragon age 2.  Few Programming modifications and Voila.....

its an item (Book) In your inventory you click on to read. You can only get the book after you resolve the werrewolf situation, Lanaya and Zathrian won't let you open the locked chest it is in till then. 
And Dog for once STFU and stops barking.  For that alone I could love that song!

Thank you!!!!!!  I remember that chest, I tried to open it once before the werewolves were resolved.. lol  Guess that's why I never went back, figured she'd always block it. I'm curious if I'd summoned a wolf if it'd behaved similar? Doubt it though.. but it's a thought. I, when I can summon, will call on the wolf to go and sit with "dog" so "dog" isn't alone.. But then they both bark lol (except when Leliana sings, then we know "dog" is quiet).. First time I heard Leliana's song, I got chills!! And it was hot in here..
