I really don't think Isabella is that bad. She certainly isn't a cookie cutter heroine, but, i mean, she's a pirate!! Aveline hasn't even been confirmed as a romance, but odds are that my character in her won't get along anyways.

I’m not big on girls that can beat me up (which covers the majority out there). Isabela looks like a nice bit of crumpet though, I’d sure love to plunder her booty!

Vulgar suggestions aside, if you squint really hard she may remind you a little too much of Seth Balmore from Lost Odyssey. And with the trailers and gameplay footage so far, Dragon Age 2 needs to distance itself from JRPGs as much as possible. I know it’s only a passing resemblance, but the pirate thing, the white top, the blue headpiece, the dark skin, and the unusually shaped daggers?

Judging simply from aethestics I'd probably say Aveline looks better.
Not because she defies social norms or any of that its just her design is simply better done.
From what tiny snipits we have of their personality I'd say, again, I'm more interested in Aveline's.

I like them both. The more recent screenshots of Isabela disprove her being "ugly" and she has a very sexy and alluring presence about her, I love her exotic appearance. Aveline has a very statuesque attractiveness, and her muscle is a part of that appeal. Each girl has a unique flavour. As for Bethany... her pale skin and raven hair work very much in her favor, she looks beautiful.

But everytime I look at her I can't stop myself to think about all the breast jokes people made in the forum and I start laughing =X To be fair, I think that her giants breasts are a annoying distraction. But maybe I don't see them the same way a straight male would?

the outer part of that coat is padding though, look at the size in the top folded part, looks normal to me (but the outer part had padded depth, while increase the look rather than the actual size)
