Meh is all I can say so far, personality wise Aveline has a glimmer of hope, but the possibility of the family relationship (no, not in that way) sounds far more interesting than the romance story threads.



Looks are just wrapping after all when all you want really is to get inside.. Ugh haha oh well.

Well how Bethany looks will depend on how you make your Hawke look... so I imagine she'll end up looking pretty fugly for a fair number of people.

It is not just a matter of looks but how rewarding they may be to romance. Like....Isabela is obviously built for comfort and to appease the eye but if the romance turns out to be superficial I'll just not pursue it and go for another alternative.....above all if it is obvious that she thinks I am utterly replaceable by a random next guy

Speaking as a female, I like the female faces thus far, Isabela in particular. She looks a lot like me (only I'm pale--well, kinda pink actually) and my nose is a little more prominent. I'd rather have companions with personality rather than attempts at "pretty".

There is no such thing as 'big enough'.

That said, none of the two knock me off my seat. They both look fine, but they make some very dubious clothing choices in my opinion, with Aveline's apron being the worst basic look in the entire game so far. Meaning, I'd rather have Bethany. Off to write fanfiction I guess.

While I've got no hopes for Isabela ( been there, done that ) I have to admit that I'm intrigued by Aveline and the prospect of romancing her.

I actually didnt know anything about DA:O before I started playing it (I had only seen a couple of trailers and thats it). But as soon as I saw Morrigan I immediately liked her. I thought Leliana was a weirdo but I accepted her offer to follow us anyway. I started to like her pretty fast.

Doesn't Bethany's looks change based on how you customize your character? Could have sworn I read something about that being done in order to avoid the whole adopted Cousland problem...

The only thing for certain right now is their appearance, and... I'm not impressed by theirs in the least, well except for Beth. The only attractive female until now and she had to be the PC's sister... -.-'

Let's hope that the personalities of the other two make up for their ugliness.

from what I perceive them as is very "meh" or average as there is nothing strikingly noticeable.

I suppose looking at the art of Morrigan, the style is "rebellious" in terms of the social norm however what direction they are trying to take with this group of companions bewilders me.

I'm of the same opinion.  Bethany does have a big rack but nothing too big to be worth all the jokes we see.
