I think Aveline is prettier, honestly. Not because she defies social norms or anything, and Isabela is walking fanservice, but because her face isn't cartoonish and out of proportion.

I'm loving this revamp.. Its waaay more like how I imagined Isabella! I think Bethany is the best looking so far actually.. Is that wrong?

That's complicated.

Personally I'm hoping to have my expectations challenged on all fronts, that her character and the narrative give you a sibling affection that overrides my initial impression, and that I end up attracted to a character despite looks rather than because of.

They do look much better, we just like to pick apart everything

But I am a little concerned about the cinematic face morphing for expressions.

incidentally, that haircut and the headband (and the face to a degree as well) remind me of movie version of Conan the Barbarian an awful lot. I guess that's quite fitting for Aveline.

I thought Morrigan looked boring when I first saw her announced but after I knew who her VA was (mmm Claudia Black....) and got some concrete info on her I began to warm up.

I have no worry that the DA team will make these characters very interesting. At least a lot moreso than the ME team..

I think default female Hawke is better looking than both Aveline and Isabella. My male Hawke would do her if they were in the same universe. (Is that considered incest too?)

With characters: random (occasionally unflattering) screenshots, tidbits of personality or not going under some crooked standard is everything what one needs to form a final opinion.

Kind of a "duh" post, but had to be said here.

ya too late, there are a surprising number of portuguese here, lurking and waiting for portuguese-related jokes to appear.... kind of like dinner at my parents' house...
