Backing up some stuff onto a USB drive cause I'm paranoid, it'll let me move the saves to it, but not copy them to it.  Why is that?

No reason, apparently. You can copy your ME1 saves as you please, but not the ME2 ones, which just makes no sense.

Because whoever created the XBox 360 version of ME2 is a bastard. I have my saves backed up on my computer using an HD transfer cable and using XPort360 to decipher whatever protection the save files have that would normally prevent them from being copied. Use the saves often when altering save game files via the gibbed save game editor.

 I've got a question that might be a little bit related here: 
I've got ME for xbox and PC, and ME2 only on xbox. Then my hard drive decided to erase all data (****ing HELL!!! *throws HD out of window*). I tried to play ME1 on xbox again, but it keeps crashing at the main menu. So i wondered if there was some way in which i could transfer my ME1 saves from my PC to my xbox and then use my ME PC saves on my ME2 on 360. Otherwise i just buy ME2 when it's cheap on steam this month...
