From what I've seen here in the forums, nothing's been anounced about the romances. Is it certain that we're going to have romances in the game at all?

Yes, at least one of the new companions, Isabella, has already been confirmed to be a love interest.

Has she? I mean, there's the cinematic trailer where Male Hawke and Isabela kiss, but I'm not sure a Dev has specifically confirmed that she is an option. I could be wrong though, and it certainly looks that way anyway.

But regardless of what's confirmed, I am certain that there will be at least one possible love interest for each gender.

David Gaider described Isabela as an "optional romance."

Oh come on, of course there will be romances. It's a hugely popular feature.

Bioware romances are the only places Ugly Shepard and Dhalsim Hawke can find true love.

Not serious response: No romances, no humour, no customisation.

Off-topic response: Also, there will be no bowstrings, cloaks, or horses.

Serious response: But seriously, come on, it's a Bioware game. Of course it will have romance!

You say "go", I read "yes". That's the way pirates roll.

What a groundbreaking piece of totally never-before-seen info. I just might die of shock.
This thread angers me.

Romance is what really matter here, you guys should know this already :police:

I can't get too attached, after all, I'm only using them for their achievements.

Heh, given the number of "Can I romance X,Y and Z?" threads around here.. well, clearly romances are serious business around these parts.

Can you remember a Bioware game that didn’t have romances? It’s a huge contributing factor to why they have such a large female audience in the first place.

I won’t deny men eat this up too, but without the payoff these games are like one huge ****tease.

Don not fret my sloth-like friend. My mind did the rest of the work for you.

It's the little things that really encourage us to post, you know. The quiet appreciation for offering up a bit of clarity at 2 in the morning. :P
