From what I've seen here in the forums, nothing's been anounced about the romances. Is it certain that we're going to have romances in the game at all?

No need to necro old threads when the answer is readily available in existing ones.
There are romances. We have not announced which characters they are. The Hawke you've seen is the default appearance, though you are free to make your own (as in DAO) and can also select your character's first name (as in DAO).
