If this isnt a troll post, then I'm really stunned at the stupidity.

Well, you've learned to live with it.  I'm sure no one on this forum will treat you differently because of it.

Could someone please explain to me what the definition of a troll post is and how that fits this post?

I also found a poll on the age of visitors to this forum and I was right on the money which explains the super juvenile behavior.  I've visited some other forums but the folks there are serious gamers usually in the 30s to 40s and you can tell the difference immediately.

I totaly agree with the OP.

Why can't we switch classe in the middle of the game ?
And for the very same reason, let say a couple got a boy but after a few years, they want to switch him into a girl (less noisy), so they should be able allowed to do it !

No serioulsy, each class have their own speciality, so if you are allowed to switch it's not speciality anymore and it's totaly retarded to play a character that sometimes can use a certain weapon for a mission and after he can't... same goes for skills.
So like 99.999999% of rpg, make your choice and stick with it, and if you don't like a classe, do like 99.999999% of players.... start over (it do not kill).

Do you see the tiniest shred of logic in your reply?  Why can't we switch classes - uhm, because the earth rotates the sun and horses has 4 legs.

Perhaps, Bioware should subdivide the forum into ones for people with an IQ less than 100, between 100 and 130, and 130 and above so I can be in the forum with the bright people and as more advanced lifeforms we can converse intelligently.

Sorrry there are way too many games out there that are ME2's equal like Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed, Dragon Age, Bioshock to name a few that I would also like to play.  I don't believe players should be forced to replay the same game over and over again.  My 1st playthrough took 50 hours which is plenty.

Who's forcing you? If you want to play over and over, then do. If you don't... then don't. If you don't like games where you can't change classes halfway through, then go play Titan's Quest again. Or spend $50 to take your family out to the movies.

In this post, it looks like you're complaining that there's TOO MUCH stuff in Mass Effect 2. You're basically saying "hey Bioware, could you shrink your game down and make it smaller so that I can have more free time to play someone else's games, instead?"

Somehow, I don't see that request gaining much traction with the folks over at Bioware...

Wrong half-twitted humanoid,

If you read the entire post and came to that conclusion, you might want thank your parents for their patience and tell them that their efforts and money are wasted on you and they should just focus on someone else.

What I'm saying is that I would love to play all classes not just the one that I'm restricted to play.  Would you like me to repeat it for your benefit or explain it for the 1000th time?

Actually reading this forum, I understand why there are no puzzles in this game - I don't believe half of you could solve them without resorting to the forum to find the answer.  Interesting, it used to be that RPGers were the brightest of folks but it seems that the modern RPGers are just morons (I'm sure you'll object but deep down we both know that you agree)

I hate to be the one to say it, but resorting to insults because your opinion is not accepted is something that could lead others to conclusions about your own intelligence or a lack thereof too, so you might consider avoiding that in the future.

I think this all comes down to the fact that game developers don't want the players to be able just to revise the biggest choice (your words) in the game, but to stick with it. A change of class is something that shouldn't be too hard to implement, yet the number of games allowing something like that seems infinitesimal compared to those that don't. That can't be coincidence.

Upon mass effect samurai's return from his temporary break from the forums, I advise discourse within the confines of the Site Rules. And for others who felt he was a troll, in the future, do not respond to trolling on the thread. Trollers are looking for a response, any response. You are to report the post to a moderator and move on. Falling for troll bait can also get you a 24 hour vacation from the forums.
