I've found some colored runestones (e.g. "White Runestone") and was wondering which character to give them to.
Also, is there any point to gifting bones to the dog? He has a permantent +100 approval.
Which character likes runestones as gifts?

If memory serves me Alistair likes the runestone. Not sure about giving gifts to the dog, I usually just gave them to Sten because I thought it was funny. And then realized this was hurting the value of the real gifts I gave him...

Yeah, the dog takes bones, but I have no clue why.
Maybe you can befriend a cat at some point and he loses influence for it.
