i would want a proper conclusion to hawke's story, and a hint about who the hero of DA3 will be.

The Qunari lord poisons Hawke's LI and she dies an excruciating death, her inhuman death shrieks tormented a local stable boy who grows up to be a vicious serial killer, and cannibal.

The only way I can see Hawke's story having an epic ending is if he becomes some kind of general or king of some nation in Thedas.

All kidding aside, I want an ending that ties the first and second DA games together, while setting the stage for DA 3.  What that will be, I don't know; however, I feel like it should include one of the following:the old god baby/ a huge revelation about what Flemeth is really up to/return of the Architect (if you didn't kill him). 

Death and destruction are also good.

Hoping for an outright downer ending. Honestly, nobody in the industry has the balls to pull one of those these days, even Blizzard who made a tradition of ending every game with, at best, a phyrric victory doomed to be swept away by the inevitable return of the villains, has made their more recent games progressively lighter and softer.

I want to slay my final foe but I only succeed by letting him impale me, as I stumble back I collapse, my friends or LI, helps me stagger to my feet, I lose footing, I draw in a breath, I go to a knee, they hoist me up in to the nearest piece of furniture, the throne of Kirkwall, I slump there as my lifeblood pools beneath me, my hand closes stiffly over the Viscounts crown, I am the Champion, but fame comes at a price, one that I was glad to pay....

Or me walking in to the sunset or something.

I'd go for what Tvtropes calls a Bolivian army ending, things look pretty bleak for the heros, but there's no confirmed death for them, like how Halo Reach would have ended without the Lone Wolf mission.

LOL! from then on a montage of shepard renegade interrupting people with pistol whips for hawke when he gets disrespected hahaha all to "Love Shack" but replaced with glove slap like in the simpsons

"Evil emperor" ending, like the one in Jade Empire. Hawke as a ruthless, vicious and sadistic ruler of (unwillingly) united Free Marches. Recently renamed to Hawke's Empire. And no longer free.
