If Bioware continued a previously discontinued IP, what would it be?

Title pretty much explains itself. Mind that most IPs are never officially discontinued, so keep an open mind.
I personally would want to see the Delta Force IP continued by them. I know its very OOC for Bioware, but I think they could pull it off pretty well. My second choice is the Mechwarrior series, although their history with Shattered Steel probably influences that.

But what would I like them to continue? Jade Empire

I can't really think of any, maybe Ultima but that would never happen. Honestly, I would rather see Bioware develop the next Final Fantasy game. I was playing Final Fantasy VI last month and I was thinking about how the second half of the game is actually kind of similar to Mass Effect 2. You're Gathering your team mates, helping them solve their problems all to prepare for a suicide mission of sorts with Kefka's tower being the equivalent to the Collector base.
I think Bioware's RPGs are very character driven and could really save the Final Fantasy franchise.

There's also Might & Magic which UbiSoft are, sadly, squandering. I think BioWare could make a fairly good quality Might & Magic X if they were given the chance, but I know UbiSoft won't be giving up the franchise easily.
But really? I don't know. BioWare aren't amazing in terms of gameplay, and they're not the best story writers either. Their characterisation is pretty good, but they seem to go for the same old tropes and stereotypes. I wish they would go back to the KotOR-era when they weren't really about saving the world as the main story, they were much more about the character. KotOR and Jade Empire, for me, were games where the main story was about the character discovering who and what they are (Or perhaps were) and that story was fueled by a bigger threat. I don't think they could save many IPs without changing them so you end up doing some grossly ridiculous main quest involving you saving the country/world/galaxy/universe from the Giant Wet Fart of Evil.

Oh and MDK, I feel like Bioware should definitely dip back into the heritage and make a new MDK game.

I think that's hilarious that Interplay is just going ahead and developing a Fallout game even though they don't have the license anymore.
They're basically just telling Bethesda "screw you, we don't care if you own the license, we're making the game anyways."
That takes some serious balls.

Er, no they're not. Part of the deal between Bethesda and Interplay over the Fallout license was that Bethesda would oversee development of Interplay's Fallout MMO providing they hit certain targets (Which is a major component of the lawsuit as Bethesda are claiming Interplay have failed to do so), but if they fail to hit those targets then Bethesda would be able to basically kick Interplay out of the door.Busomjack wrote...

3.5 is my personal favorite, but hey, anythings better than just letting the D&D licence sit idel.

Seriously though, any Bioware made D&D game would be awesome, although I have a preference for the Forgotten Realms setting. I wonder how long Atari has the license for?

Until either they decide they don't want it or until WotC take it back. EA won't take it, either, as they're focusing on original IPs. The D&D license has only be sat "idle" because of problems between Atari and WotC, but with the announcement of Neverwinter it can be assumed those problems are not really around now.Leftnt Sharpe wrote...

Jade Empire. They did start work on Jade Empire 2, but they stopped development pretty early.
I'm even willing to let Bioware pass it over to another company thats how bad I want it
