Do not know Enerngy drain seems to waste the bonus power slot.. since its just an upgraded version of overload..........still who am I to judge I gave every squad member a barrier of some sort ammo power and grenade so. lol wth w/e you like.

I went with Area Reave as the bonus power. It allowed me to avoid taking throw and warp.
Assault Armor
Area Overload
Full Cryo Blast
Guardian
Area Reave
Now that's a class that can take care of anything. Shields fall to overload, barriers and armor get stripped easily by reave. Enemies with just health get frozen. And of course, assault armor is incredible.
Just bring along a teammate with a squad ammo power appropriate for the mission, and you are absolutely set.

My sentinel runs:
Throw- 2
Heavy Warp- 4(running mostly Zaeed and Garrus for fun this time through)
Area Overload- 4
Assault Armour- 4
Guardian- 4
Cryo Blast- 1
AP Ammo/Stasis- 3
Weapon load out- Tempest, Carnifex(looks cooler) and Vindi/Mattock(just because both my infiltrator and vanguard use the shotgun, so I need a change!)
I run with either Stasis or AP depending on the mission, though I perfer AP ammo just to up my damage. That, and using Stasis or Reave makes an easy class just too easy... it almost seems like cheating to me
I often unload the Vindi/Mattock while moving up to close with the enemy, then switch to the Tempest and pepper the **** out of them until they die. During this time my tech armour tends to overload almost every 12-15 seconds, which staggers those I'm trying to kill. The Vindi/Mattock is great at dealing with platform scions, harbringer or any other distant enemy you want dead... and I find it very easy to fire at distance while I'm moving, unlike a sniper rifle.
I tend to play out in the open at times and often only use Assault Armour, so for me a bonus power that has a cool-down is kinda useless. That being said, I will sometimes respec to take either slam(so Miri can warp bomb) or Unstable Warp if I have jack/jacob ect so I can set them off... though that is very situational depending on the mission I'm in.
This class feels like the super soldier of ME1 that just used Immunity and Shield Boost to never die in the open. It's a great deal of fun to play.
Cheers. McBeath.

If you're a caster sentinel I'd recommend energy drain or one of the shield powers since you DON'T want power armor dropping. If you are an assault sentinel I'd recommend anything that's not a shield buff since you WANT your armor to explode.

i use Armor Piercing Ammo for my sentinels in ME 2. considering at phase 3 it's +50% damage to health and Armor it's a good deal killing effectively after you've overloaded the shields, or warped their barriers. However the application of heavy warp may render the Rounds useless.
