Greetings All,

A little help please!  I just got the "Storm of Zehir" expansion installed, patched up to 1.020 (1541) Final.
When I try to open the Toolset, I get the message "Neverwinter Nights 2 Toolset has stopped working, A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
Needless to say, it never does.
I'm running Windows 7 home Premium on a Gateway FX6831

If you are using Windows 7 Download the installer for "DirectX9.0c" and install it, even if you think you have it already.. it fixes the missing files thing on 32bit and 64bit Windows 7.

This is the file I used "directx_mar2009_redist.exe"

That's not the latest version - v1.23 is.

Tried out "directx_Jun2010_redist.exe" to see if it works as well, and it seems to have been successful ^_^ Thanks, mwmdragon ^_^

Even 3 years later, this fixed my problem on Windows 7 x64. Thanks so much!

Where can I find this? I don't see a directx file. I can't launch the toolset in windows 8.
As a matter of fact, I don't see a toolset button on the opening choices like nwn1 had - I went in the files and found a launcher.

I don't remember if it's supposed to automatically put a shortcut in your start menu, or whatever Windows 8 has, or if I made my own shortcut and put it in the start menu, but that's how I do it.

As for the DirectX installer, on the disc version I own, it's in a subfolder on the installation DVD.
