In light of the death of Leslie Nielsen, just making this thread to say to people on this part of the forum if you haven't watched any of his work, Police Squad, The Naked Gun Trilogy, Airplane, or Forbidden Planet, it is worth watching what this man did, and made many people laugh, i grew up watching his work in the 80/90s and a mark of his comedy.
You will be remembered.

WHAT! HE DIED!? Ah! That sucks. My best friend's dad worked with Nielsen in a low budget Canadian golf comedy called Bad Golf My Way. Don't know why I mention it, but here we are.
Anyway, Nielsen was always hillarious. Best Dracula ever.

Oh yeah, that's one of the films he was in before he turned to a more comedic role. With the possible exception of the Naked Gun movies and Airplane all of his spoof movies have been abysmal. Most of them don't even have any jokes in them but instead just throw around pop culture references, most of which are pretty dated today.
I liked that part in the first Naked Gun movie when the bad guy falls off the railing and then proceeds to get run over by a truck, steam rolled, and then trampled on by a marching band and then Frank Drebin's partner cries telling Frank that's the same way his father died.
I also liked in the second movie when the bad guy falls off the building but then lands safely only to randomly get eaten by a big cat. HAHA!

The guy was a comedy legend.
Very sad news indeed
I'm a big fan of his work like Naked Gun and Airplane, also that Dracula movie he did.

I love all of the movies that I have ever seen him in, I hope that his body does rest in peace, undisturbed by the passage of time.

He was a good man. I, too, grew up watching Airplane and Naked Gun movies and reruns of Police Squad. I've outgrown his style of comedy but can appreciate his life's work.

"It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girl dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day."
"And don't call me Shirley"
But that's not important right now
R,I,P Leslie Nielsen
I've seen a lot of his movies and enjoyed every single one of them, he was a brilliant comedian and man.

Mel Brooks Dracula - Lol, the scene in the bedroom where he hypnotises a girl, then someone else comes into the room = chaos "you sit down, No YOU sit down, not you, You" and so it goes on.
Will be missed
